Please help me decide - because I can't
Comments (4)I agree about Rev D'Or. I planted mine own root a year ago last spring and it is by far the best performer in the garden this year. And it's not even mature yet, although it has gotten big. It always has blooms on it. I have two Climbing Pinkies, and while they are always in bloom, they are the first to get powdery mildew and also seem to be a haven for spider mites. That might be because of their hot location though. And while they continously bloom (even with pm) their bloom forms do not compare with the gorgeous Rev D'Or. Also CP has no scent....See MoreWhat to wear? Please help - I can't decide!
Comments (15)Thanks for all the great advice and insight. Lyra - you are spot on with the suggestion to choose an outfit that is "sit" friendly. No one wants to stand up and have diaper butt LOLOL! My hair is so short right now I don't have a lot of choices so, weather permitting, it will just be blow dried under. Long gone are the days when I could put it up in a French Twist. If the weather is rainy (a possibility) then I will go with the drowned rat look LOL! I have very fine straight hair and even the slightest humidity will kill any "do". BTW - what are the cough drops for - or should I ask Jessy? LOLOLOL! Alexa...See MorePlease help me! I can't decide on a roof color...
Comments (19)Thank you SH! Those really do help me visualize how each would look. Thanks also for everyone who posted picks, I have a hard time visualizing things, which is why I'm having this current problem. I also agree with the person who mentioned the lighter colors not looking as good for as long as the darks. So many I've looked at that are lighter have dark streaking going on. I'd like to avoid that if possible. Dh says we should go more brown, but I like how the blacks bring out the grey tones in the stone. However, I do love the first mock up! I guess I need to decide which "look" I'm going for. I just don't know! I'm wanting an old world feel to it for sure. I was thinking the black walnut would be a good way to stay dark but still get the brown tones. But with that first mock up, it really says "old world" more than the black, doesn't it? I also was concerned about the roof looking busy, like it would compete with the stone in some way. Oh and the whole house will be done in the stone, if that helps. Here is another picture of the house with the stone on it and a black roof. These are the type of shingles we'll most likely be using, do you see any browns there that would work? Here is a link that might be useful: Shingle gallery...See MoreEEK! I can't decide my exterior colors! Please help! I'm terrible @ it
Comments (1)Love your inspiration color. Maybe lighten it up by 25%. I think paints have stuff added to them to slow fading. I would remove the shutters. Then maybe a blue or lime green for the door...See MoreBuehl
