Sorry for not responding for a bit, I got really bad news about my little dog at the end of last week and we've just been concentrating on her since then. These windows look bad from the outside too sadly. The side wall is this pretty hideous stucco and the color is dubious. still I think the house looks pretty cute from the front so I'll post a pic of that. i decided to slow down on the beams and still haven't made a decision on lighting for the beamed portion of the room as recessed lights won't work. I may hit you guys up for ideas on that next. To my own shock I am considering track lighting for that section. i got several quotes for storm windows, both interior and exterior. The ones I have settled on are expensive ($4500 for all three), but they are built by a very highly recommended person in town who lives less than 5 minutes walk away, knows all the history of my windows and I just feel really good about using them. Mom still reserving judgement on the glass, but we'll see. I'm waiting on the design to come back showing some colors. The front of the house; it's about 2650 sqft. Most of the portion to the right would have been added at some point. It was initially just the tiny chapel to the left.

It is the same as any other window. It depends on the style of your home and each room, the size and shapes of each window, and the light and privacy needs. Post photos of each window and the rooms they are in, and also your style and privacy needs.

You will need to go shopping and talk to somone who knows ecxctly what you need . The seat is usully 15-19 " off the floor but the issue is how big is the piece in the wall.

I am still debating all the ideas. Currently there is no window treatment, and I only started thinking about installing one after my SIL who slept in the room for a couple nights mentioned how bright the sun is in the morning. And, now that I am thinking more about it, I am wondering if I should perhaps cover the window for a couple hours daily because I have a nice, new, light slate blue leather hide a bed in the room. It gets a couple hours of Florida morning sun, and I am worried about the leather fading. So, maybe the folding screen option isn't the best if I want to regularly use it. OTOH, how hard could it be to move daily? If I end up going the curtain route, I did discover clear acrylic curtain rods. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08C34ZZJP/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza?th=1 Thank you for all the help.
