Curtain rod rings-Need a source

I prefer to hang my pleated panels from drapery rings that hang from the rod. I am hoping someone has an inexpensive source. I need 1 1/2" rings and want the metal kind-the wood ones are too thick. I am finding packages of 7 rings for $ 8-10. For my dining room alone, I need 28 rings! $40 in rings seems insane. Any ideas? I don't care about the finish (gold etc), I am willing to paint.

I bought a bunch from Sierra Trading post-- wait for one of their 35% or 45% sales. I don't know what size I bought and they are still packed .. but the stock changes regularly. I'd just check them out and check back. I am pretty sure I paid less than $5/set on one of their discount sales.

I got some from Walmart a few years back. I don't remember the size though. Mine are oil rubbed bronze color. They are probably around 1 1/2".

I do recall them being quite spendy everywhere I looked.

One more reason to like the rings - with them, the top of the curtain sort of extends the line of the trim (see 1st picture), and together with the rod uncovered, creates a cleaner, stronger effect.

If you follow the formula that the ring should be approx 1/2" larger in diameter than the rod, then yes, the rings that Rejuvenation sells are too big for that rod. I just did a quick internet search and the ONLY ring I found smaller than what Rejuvenation sells is this one. It comes in silver. Here is a link that might be useful: HangingCurtainswithPleats

If you want wood - Home Depot sells a 96" wooden pole in white or mahogany. They have matching brackets and rings. You'll need a support bracket in the middle. Oops - just saw your preference for brass finishes.

HI, I know i am late commenting on this one, but we are spreading the word about a new bay curtain pole that doesn't have brackets at the corner so you can have eyelet curtains which i think would be perfect for what you are looking for. The pole can hold utp 30kg and is amazing. Your eyelet curtain poles can go around the corners without being obstructed by brackets, this means that you can have a pair of curtains working around the window and then drawing back out of the way.
