Wall Color to Complement Stone Fireplace

I am moving into a new-to-us house, and will be working with a living area that has a stone fireplace and wood mantle. In addition, underneath the chair rail, this room has a mural; handpainted logs, like a cabin, complete with knots and nice variation in color. We do not want to paint over this. I know if I pick the right color to paint over the chair rail, it will make the most of the stone fireplace with all its rich browns and grays, and the painted wall treatment of the logs too.

What color do you suggest?

The only other challenges are to possibly work into this room a couple of brown leather recliners. I will be choosing a new sofa. I know I can find a sofa and then choose the wall color, but I need at least a jumping-off point! The entertainment center is medium wood .... I guess it's like a pecan-type wood color. The floor is a medium oak color. Lots of brown going on!

Thanks for any ideas.
