Try using the banner option of your computer publishing program. Type the letters in the size you need, change the font till you get what you like. Print it out and trace onto your fabric. Is this what you meant?

Deedles: I am sure you are right about the popularity of that pattern, or ones similar to it. I actually kinda like it, too, but the ubiquity and the age have taken their toll. I realize there is something else I don't like about it, however. I have developed an aesthetic (which in itself is a first for me! ;-) that I don't like faux finishes. That is, I don't like surfaces that are pretending to be something other than they are. If you are thermofoil, look like thermofoil. If you are ceramic tile, don't try to look like stone or wood, look like the beautiful ceramic tile you are. I have come to really like both the linoleum I see here on GW as well as the the old, bold lino patterns from the early 20th century. Both seem preferable to me now than sheet flooring that tries to look like stone. Yes, I am certainly leaving that other entryway alone. Thank you for your kind comments. I love that tile! In a previous thread, I described my desire to replicate that tile on the side landing, and I asked for help in finding a source for it. Skyedog put me onto Seneca tile; however, it was nearly $30/sq. ft., and I already had enough of the travertine, so I am compromising. On the plus side, I think this will blend in better with the new kitchen floor.
