I didn't end up going to the Halloween party (didn't know the hosts well, and likely wouldn't know most of the guests, but I had my husband convinced to go until our friends backed out), but I am wearing a variation of the 50 shades costume today at work. Gray sweather, black pants, gray boots and a necklace made of 50 shades of gray paint chips!

Lovely ladies Alisande! How is your granddaughter doing? The costume Bigack posted has her son's head right in the middle and his hands are pulling his own hair/holding his head up.. so yes, he is able to see. I've seen this done with a clear plastic jar (cut in the back) over the head too.. so it appears the 'live' head is in a jar being held by a headless person. Very cool idea! DH and I are going to our friend's annual Halloween party as John and Lorena Bobbitt. I won't post pictures here of that, but it is a simple costume with fake blood in appropriate places on some pajamas. I'll carry a 'bloody' knife and a jar with evidence (sausage). Sorry you asked??? lol

Thanks guys. I'd have to say it was the hardest one yet..I did have a silver mylar 'curtain' at the back of the oven-enabling me to sit down on a stool at least. The problem was..even thru the armholes on the side-I couldn't reach my mouth to even drink water w/a straw! People fed me drinks via the curtain in the back & then I'd slip the straw up thru to my mouth! LOL!
