Our family room faces West, and we are definitely going to need some kind of blind or shade for light control, and I would also like to have decorative fabric treatments as well. As you can see in the attached picture, the windows by the fireplace are very tall, whereas the windows on the side wall are more of a standard size.

First of all, what would look best for light control? We have 2" faux wood blinds in many of the windows currently, but I was hesitant to use them on such tall windows. Should I just go with these, or does anyone have a more stylish recommendation?

As for the fabric treatments, I was planning to use the same fabric on both sets of windows. But, they will be hung at two different heights. Would you recommend straight panels for both, or should I consider changing up the design of the window treatments?
