Yes, indeed, ShellKing, your idea may provide the path to a solution. I hadn't considered that something adjacent to the outside door hinges, like a frame, would stop it. The med cab is so close to the wall corner that I could probably devise a bumper there that would be fairly invisible and would stop the door. Much better than affixing a bumper to the mirror itself. Thanks Busybme. I was just thinking the same thing today after doing some remeasuring, that I could fit a 3 light bar fixture in the space I have. Here is a pic of the Duchess 3 light fixture but I turned it upside down for the downlight effect. Only issue I see reversing the light is needing more room above the arched mirror since the lamp shades will be running into the mirror top. I am leaning toward the first mirror too, but I haven't been able to actually see one in person yet to verify the finish color. I would have to order online and hope it will work. Still thinking about the mirror type and finish that would look best. I think the second mirror choice would be "safe" but I am feeling the urge to get a little more dramatic than that! Thanks everyone for the good comments. I have posted this on the decorating board and am getting suggestions there too. Gsciencechick I am going to check out that Moen faucet. I also found a Delta faucet yesterday that looks like it would work too. Only problem I am having is that my current TP holder is the recessed type built into the drywall. I am having a hard time finding one of those in a nice antique bronze type finish. I have seen one in ORB but it looks almost black and I really prefer the more brownish rustic bronze look for the faucet and other bath accessories. I may have to have the drywall patched and just go with a standard TP holder which can be found in more finish choices.

It's tough, when you love some aspect about something you've done to your house, but aren't so sure about it for other reasons... I sympathize, superchick. Would the vendor take them back if you decide you don't want them? If so... Hope this doesn't sound too simplistic, but what I usually do when I find myself in some kind of situation like this is...take a few moments, take a deep breath, think about what I'm like, and then try to answer the question whether, over the long-term, what I love about the item is going to be more persistent than what I don't love. When I think about it, I have lots of things in my house that aren't perfect, and I bought them that way. E.g., I have a gorgeous maple spinning wheel from the 1830s. It's handsome and perfect in everyway, except that the foot pedal (treadle?) is noticeably cracked. I'm a perfectionist who would have rather have found one in mint condition, but that's not an easy proposition. Guess what? It's been in my house for six years now and I adore it. OTOH, I have a beautiful, handpainted oversized ceramic bowl from Italy I received as a gift from special friends a few years ago. I'm crazy about this bowl and keep fruit in it. But the glaze crazed early on, and I noticed today that stains have gotten into the cracks. I know me, and I know I'm just not going to like looking at the stains. *shrugs* Do you think that effect with the mirrors makes your decorating look like a poor or cheap job, OR, together with what's positive to you about the mirrors, does it lend your house character and beauty? Live with them for a day or two and see which feeling gets stronger. Only you can decide. Good luck with it.

Hello. We are doing bathroom remodeling and everything goes not the way I planned ♀️ Anyways, we though we will put 60in single vanity and built the niche for recessed 40x30in lighted Kohler mirror/medicine cabinet. That would have look great with single sink vanity. However, we changed our mind and bough 60in double vanity But we have this mirror and all the electrical and niche ready for that mirror. I am afraid it will look small and not good due to double sink vanity. So I was thinking to put wall sconces around the mirror. The problem is I only have 7.25 inches of space between mirror and the wall. Would it be enough to put 5in wide sconces in order for it to look good? Also should I do electrical sconces or look for candle once, since mirror already coming with the lighting? I want this bathroom to look good and not sure what am I doing anymore. Please help P.S. on the picture is the photo of the wall space with measurements.
