BM Cream Fleece, BM Muslin or BM Bone White (= Natural Wicker)

Anyone have pictures or input of the following Benjamin Moore Paint colors (listed in the subject) for a Master bathroom wall that has bone sink bone jacuzzi, glass shower stool with the beige-taupe tiles going up the wall, ivory double vanity, ivory tiles and beige-taupe tiles going up part of the wall? I need to add a picture but in all just hearing your input of why you liked the color or did not and if you have any pictures would help. Currently the wall is BM Navajo White and is seems to match the vanity and with all the pictures on the wall for color in the olive green family it is not bad but a little bit too light and the paint job was terrible in 2007 so I finally need to repaint. BM Cream Fleece is the darkest per the formula and from my sample chips. Then Muslin is a little bit lighter. Then BM Natural Wicker (exact same formula as BM Bone White per two Benjamin Stores so my eyes were not deceiving me when the chips looked identical). I decided to stay neutral and peaceful and let the pictures add the color. I want a warm happy bathroom. I have no windows but have a cathedral slanted ceiling in my townhouse.

Lynn, are you familiar with the website Houzz....go into the site, at the top of page is a link for photos, in the search bar put in Benjamin Moore Cream Fleece, etc...it will give you picture. Muslin was one of the colors that I bought a sample in for my new bedroom, once on the walls I thought, I know this color....one of my other bathrooms is Muslin, guess I liked it years ago. I suggest buying a pint of the paint, and putting it on the walls, chips and the photos on Houzz are not true to eye.

Almost all my ceilings are painted Navajo White. I know that's not one of the new choices but just mentioning I've seen the color IRL.

I have samples of Muslin and Natural Wicker. I like both colors but if my memory is working right, the Muslin has red in it which I remember seeing a slight pink tone when looking at painted poster board sample. Out of all the samples I tried, this one really looked pink to my eye. Natural Wicker was nice but was too light. I ended up actually not even using that room right now and when the time comes, I'm going to use Manchester Tan - which I know is darker than what you're talking about here. The room also gets lots of sun.

I would definitely check out the paint samples in the room.

A nice neutral you might consider checking out is SW Aria Ivory (it's a retired color). Miss Mustard Seed used this in her house and I really liked the sample I bought. If you look around on her blog more, you'll see a lot more photos of this color than what's shown in the link.

Linelle, Thank you for replying. The Paint sample card and formula for SW Antique White and BM Bone White are very very close. I was told my Sherwin Williams the difference is SW Antique White has a tiny drop of brown in it and BM Bone White has a tiny drop of Magenta or Red in it (I think it was BM that used red and SW used Magenta). I would have to match the SW Antique White in the BM Aura paint and I am not sure how close they would match it so I decided to stay with the BM Bone White that I love that is in the family room that has more light so I feared it would be too dark in my home office. But after moving the painted board around (from over 2.5 years ago when I was choosing wall colors) and paint chips around my rooms (recent ones.... 4 - 5 for each color cut out and lined up in a row on white paper), I think I can't go wrong with the BM Bone White or the SW Antique White. I like the BM Palace White but I am glad you told me you liked it but don't love it like you do your SW Antique White and BM Camouflage. Any pics of the BM Camouflage for maybe the spare bedroom that had BM Philadelphia Cream in it that is way too yellow for that room and needs to be repainted? By the way, I LOVE my BM Bone white in my family room, hallway upstairs and the area going up the steps. But I only like it in the laundry room and in the kitchen and in the storage room. Lighting and what is in the room really affects the color of the paint. I have not yet bought the paint so I am tempted to buy a pint of the SW Antique White and BM Bone White in the Aura formula and try both on the wall to see how I feel. Thanks again for your help. I work in my home office many hours during the day and many times at night and when I am not working but instead on my PC doing other things like being on this decorating site as I eat dinner, I am in the home office also so the wall color is very important to me. I like wall colors that are happy and peaceful which do not clash with furniture or tile around them.

I repainted my Master Bathroom from Ralph Lauren Deep Cream to BM Navajo White and that lemon went away and instead a soft creamy light golden tan that does have some orange tints in it is now on the wall that looks nice with the Bone bathtub, toilet and sink. Before the wall color just did not feel right to me. BM Navajo White seems to be a lighter BM Bone White in my eyes since I love the BM Bone White that I have in my hallways and family room as well as my kitchen. Sherwin William's Navajo White is a very close match to BM Bone White but Bone White is slightly more golden. Sherwin William's Navajo White is darker than Bm Navajo White. I have Sherwin William's Extra White Gloss on all my trim and doors to make the wall color look more like a color and I love the clean look. I also have white ceilings that really brighten up the rooms I feel from what I had before. By the way ever since I bought white sheer curtains to put on the side of my Linen Honeycomb Duet Blinds, I started to enjoy the Ralph Lauren Deep Cream on my walls in my Master Bedroom. Lighting, light bulbs, no natural light or a lot of natural light and the colors in the room really affect the paint color on the wall. I used BM Pearl Paint finish which is not as shiny as Satin or Semi-Gloss but more shiny than Eggshell. In my home office, the Pearl finish appears flat without a chalky look.

Linelle, I love the BM Palace White on your walls with the white trim! I am now considering this color for my low light home office room. Thank you! The sample board is very pretty. Which do you like better the BM Palace White or the SW Antique White? I am considering them both for my home office with bright white trim and doors. I think next year I am going to get rid of the three taupe colored (neutral in the day time but at night the taupe design in the off-white blinds makes the blinds look dirty and gray) double honeycomb (wish were single honeycomb to let in more light) top-down/bottom-up blinds with long strings that keep tangling that I have been living with for about 4 years and have disliked the blinds ever since they went in my home office three windows. It was the worst $900 I spent (Alta Blinds ... a division of Hunter Douglas ... bought from Budget Blinds... never went back to him since he did not tell me to test a sample at night or that the strings would be so long they would touch the floor ... wish I got retractible cords). The other windows I love all of my blinds since I learned to get samples to look at in different lighting situations and at night. All my blinds needed to be replaced since they fell off the windows so I had to make decisions and I tried my best. I know if the blinds were off of the windows and were more white, I would love every color on the wall. So maybe I should disregard them for now knowing I will save and next year get something different despite the cost. Unless a different paint color other than the BM Linen White makes them look better to me and I can live with them a a few more years.

Hm, a timely thread. I too need a good white. The house will be white walls top to bottom. It's a contemporary, modern loft-like space. The floors are going to be painted hardwood in a warm grey colour. I do not want yellow undertones either. The house gets a ton of sun and I live in a cold sunny climate. Suggestions much appreciated.

Winesnob, I did visit the website Houzz and never realized that I could search for colors there since sometimes during my Google search I would end up there. I was able to view BM Muslin walls and BM Bone White Walls (so peaceful like most of my house now and that was why I was trying to find something a little bit different). Unfortunately, I was not able to view the SW Cream Fleece since there were no rooms with that color. Thank you for letting me know.

Sheesharee, I do love the retired Sherwin Williams Aria Ivory on that wall on the bloc a lot. It is shame there is no sample card so to see the color in person, I would have to order a sample can which maybe I will do. I have tried out the colors in the room but when I tried out BM Bone White in my home office directly on walls and on poster boards, it appeared to gray but it looked so nice in my family room that I took a chance and it is so warm and not gray and looks great. Hence, I have learned that I like to see pictures as well as the sample card and the sample paint when I narrow down my selection and then I just have to take a chance since paint on all walls picks up what is in the room, the lighting, and other factors that can't be seen until the paint is on the wall I have learned.
