Help me pick a wall color to match bedspread
Comments (13)I'd pick the color from that warmer greige stripe, towards the bottom of the pillow. Take the pillow to a paint store and see what matches or ask someone who works there. Our BM store has a color consultant on staff. I'd probably pick the wider lighter stripe, or something between that and the narrower stripe. (Maybe something like BM Collingwood) Then I would use some pops of color for pillows, lamps, art, in a color that you like (blue, red, teal, green, whatever)....See MoreWall Color with my new bedspread - Help please!
Comments (7)Yes, i'm needing help with wall color for my bedroom and I want a color that will look well with my master bath. I only have a dresser and we are replacing it, but we haven't gotten any new furniture yet. I really like the dark espresso wood though, so i'm pretty sure thats the furniture that will be in there. Our floor is just the frieze tan carpet. I'm not good at this, so I don't have decorations. I thought if I found a bedspread that I liked, I could build off of it. Thanks!...See MoreLooking for bathroom paint color help - maybe 101 paint matching
Comments (2)I'm not an expert but when choosing paint colors, I prefer contrast. I would get a few samples and paint some spots on the wall to see what works the best with your tile. If the tile leans more towards white I think a soft sage color would be pretty with the elements you've described, but if your tile leans towards a brown, it's hard to say. If you can post pictures, it would really help....See MoreWall Paint-touch Paint Not Matching
Comments (4)Sheen dulls out over time so a shiny paint will never match in sheen exactly right away. Also, matching the texture is important. You don't want to use a paintbrush over a surface that was rolled. Sometimes, it's just not possible for the paint to match exactly though after some time has passed, especially with washable paint, and touching up in areas where there is light coming in from windows is shining down the wall is almost impossible....See Moreles917
