Repainting black and white bathroom

I have a classic, black and white subway tile bathroom in my 1927 colonial. The walls have been Benjamin moore's pear green, which is a cool statement color. Since I've had it up for about seven years and the towels etc are in dire need of replacement, I was thinking of changing it up. Most of the bedrooms on that floor are in the blue family. Would a Tiffany blue work? Any other ideas? While i think pink would be neat i dont think my 15 yr old son would love that and he is the primary user of that bath.

A grey color would be nice, especially if a boy-man will be using the room

Tiffany blue is a tricky color and may not be the best for a bathroom. Here is a fairly true Tiffany blue in a house I am renting out (tenant picked the color). It is a bit more intense in real life --it looks washed out here--and colors the light in the room a bit:

What about a darker teal, not so femine as the Tiffany blue? That would look great with black and white tile.

ETA clarity to my post. What color is the last picture? That looks good. I think if you live with it like was suggested above you will like it. Accessorizing with some amazing colors for that wall color will help to pull the room together. I have a bathroom that I used BM Bunny Gray in and it looks like a baby blue. I have white, gray, and marble in that room. I have another room with carrara marble in, and I used BM Horizon, but that has a bit of green in it. The Horizon is very pale and might seem white to some. But the warming of the blue goes with my walnut. The Bunny Gray is a bit richer and looks fine with my whites, blacks, and marble. I tried many many samples for the marble in this room and settled on the Bunny Gray. No pink or green that I see in the Bunny Gray. This is a deco that I found and based my BM Bunny Blue room colors on. The lichen might have faded but the reddish in the mussles go well with the blue. Thanks all. That was the direction I was leaning, but it’s nice to know I’m on the right track, especially as I start to hit decision overload. The tile Themar by Arizona Tile in Venato Gold. We looked at a LOT of options, and at the last minute my tile showroom happened to start carrying Arizona Tile, and we really liked this one.

If you notice, the suggestions of a black mirror show them over vanities that are not black. You have enough black. If you didn’t mention it, I would not have noticed. It is such a lovely mirror, it would be a shame to not keep it. If it really bothers you, see if you can find something similar in chrome. We all like to match things but I think that a mirror can stand alone.

You sound like you are in Europe (or some other country that prefers the metric system rather than the imperial system), is that correct? The choice of colour of flooring and cabinets and counters can be inspired by your local surroundings and/or the origins of the house itself. Many of the British Colonies used dark wood flooring (because the wood was local...and dark) with bright white walls (because the limestone around them made it easy to finish walls in white plaster). Photos of the house, the surrounding areas and the interior would go a long way.

I used a blue, I think it was quiet moments blue by BM, in my black white orginal hall bath and I use a Granite Grey by glidden in a black white 1980s redo powder room. I like both colors with the white and black combo:)

I am hesitant to post this pic after the the orginal bath thread...It might look like a gut job to many but it brings me joy to think about how long good craftsmanship can last:).

Powder room has black and white floor tile and plain square subway tile on wall.
