Should I let the Realtor in?

I am getting my house ready to sell. The market picks up in January here in FL, when the seasonal visitors begin to roll in. The plan is to tidy up and fix up for another month or two and then list after the beginning of the year.

My reading suggests that the house should be as close to show-ready as possible before the Realtors I'm interviewing come to have a look see. One guy on my short list is going away for the second half of Nov. and would like to come NOW!

There are a couple of rooms torn apart, getting packed and reorganized. Gardens haven't been "done" yet. Laundry room awaits a drywall repair after the plumbers were here this week. yadda yadda Nothing grotesque, but we're certainly not feeling ready.

He was originally willing to wait until early Dec. but after a few e-mails back and forth, he now wants to come with a couple of his agents. Do I say yes? Any downside to this?
