My sister is flying in from Orlando today. We are going to DS #1's house late this evening for bbq.

Grilled eggplant, zucchini, red peppers and onions, served on hard rolls with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes. And a romaine salad with Caesar dressing. It's too hot to eat anything heavy.

The last of the leftover corned beef, cabbage and potatoes.

French beef balls with a mushroom/wine sauce over pasta, broccoli and possibly a tossed salad....gotta get as many vegetables into our diet as possible!

Pizza--semi-homemade. I use Pillsbury pizza crust. Topped with pepperoni, mild Italian sausage and lots of cheese. Unless I get an invite from angelaid. I love corned beef, especially leftover!

Tacos.

Lauren and I went to a new diner in town. The restaurant has gone through so many owners it's not funny. The new one is supposed to have no fried foods only healthy foods. Problem is they also sell pie and cakes and the "Amish Noodle soup" Lauren got so too satly for her to eat. We asked them to replace it with the cream of onion I got. So much for the healthy aspect. We also got sandwiches.

But, you didn't ask about lunch, did you? LOL! We're probably having hot dogs left over from our camping trip, canned baked beans and I'm kinda craving potato salad. Will have to think of something else for Alex since he won't eat potato salad. I just dropped Lauren off at her friend's house to spend the night so it's just me and Alex.

Pasta Bake
Layer of Brown Rice Penne, then some mozzarella, then meat sauce made with canned sauce(I haven't figured out how to make a good marinara that the boys like) and grass feed beef, then more cheese, baked til bubbly..

It's something I'm making now, and hubby can put in the oven closer to the rest of us returning from the ball fields.

Too hot to cook; got over 90 again here. So while at Costco I picked up BBQ Pork Buns Dim Sum and Asian cole slaw. We will have watermelon and sweet cherries for dessert.
