I have had Russian sage in the past. It spreads and became to big for my small area.

If there are ongoing safety concerns from that incident as you seem to be alleging, then maybe the better thing would be not to bring the situation back into the spotlight.

@Sherry8aNorthAL - I’m truly impressed, I can never find anyting old. I tried to ask google this morning, they gave me a link that wasn’t correct. When I pressed them (their AI) they acknowleded thr mistake but said they couldn’t help me further because Houzz is notriously bad at indexing. ”Notoriously” is the word they used!

I searched on here with fingers crossed and got lucky.

Someone start a NEW bargins thread. My last real bargin was the late 1990’s. It was a manual

scale at the fancy kitchen store, Williams Sonoma. I was killing time on lunch and browsed the store. They had a table with displays from Christmas. No box. A manual kitchen scale.

I do not know how I lived without it!

@Sherry8aNorthAL - I use my kitchen scale all the time, and often convert ingredients to weight rather than measure. Funny story though, my cousin was just visiting from europe and watching me make something from a recipe he commented, ”It’s so much faster and easier here, using measuring cups rather than weighing everything.” I got a laugh out of that.

Here's my latest bargain: The chandelier was an open box on Ebay $20 + $30shipping + $12 for the shades = $62! I'm in heaven with my NEW chandelier!!!!! It's in my master bedroom. I purchased painters drop cloths today, washed them in very hot water...making slip covers for the Lazy Boy recliners/over stuffed chairs I picked up for $34 ea(3 way push backs)....a work in progress for the same room.

I did have something good happen for me lately. I have a metal bench on my front porch that isn't any kind of standard measurement, so getting cushions was next to impossible.

My neighbor offered me a cushion she was no longer using for a window seat. It was perfect for depth and enough for a back as well but the material was not suitable for outdoor use.

Then I learned of another neighbor who makes cushions for boats so I got with him and showed him what I had. He made a cardboard pattern, he had material that would work and for a very good price he made the perfect cushions for my bench!!! I am thrilled and it is so comfortable now.
