I cooked that spiral ham. Along with that was mashed potatoes and beets. Anytime I send Bobby to the garage to get a vegetable either from the freezer or canned on the shelf I can be assured he is going to come in with beets. LOL After dinner I cut the meat off the bone and packaged it for the freezer. Got six packs of meat and a big pack with the bone and the juice from the pan the ham cooked in. Looking forward to 15 bean soup in the near future.

Chilly and rainy here, too...so, time for a fall supper. Roasted pork tenderloin, rubbed with olive oil, garlic and herbs de provence. Vegs were steamed yams sprinkled with light brown sugar and steamed fresh spinach. Wine was Sarsaparilla soda :)

It looks like everyone here did better than I did tonight. Again. Eggs over easy, sausage patties, yogurt with some blueberries (from Chile, so imported which I don't usually do), toast from the loaf of bread my neighbor surprised me with. My SIL and her husband stopped and stayed long enough the pork chops I'd planned to cook weren't going to work. I had two only, so couldn't start them sooner, had nothing to offer for two extra plates. She said she had thawed a piece of salmon just big enough for two herself, but still stayed and gossiped. Longer than I would have liked. My baking neighbor is a doctor, divorced and living singly. He's teaching himself to bake bread - It's improving ;) I didn't wait for dinner and cut a piece while it was still hot from his oven, enjoyed it. I bought him a bread knife for Christmas - One afternoon last Fall he came over with a loaf of bread while I was outside working in the yard. He said he had bread for me but wanted half back, did I have a bread knife he could use ;)

Fajitas, we love those! I must make them on the weekend, or next week. Thanks for the inspiration Raven. Pam hubby will take hot dogs over hamburgers any day. He'd love your dinner, lol. We love "shumaligans" Prairie. It's a good thing because I always cook too much, specifically to have food leftover. Gadgets, our favourite fast food burger is A&W, but once in a while I like a big Mac. They're messy with the lettuce ending up all over me. I'm sure you're much neater! Kathleen, for grabbing a fast meal it sure sounds healthy. Audrey, corn chowder is terrific soup. I hope Schultz is doing much better.
