It's already warm here, 74 degrees, and it's windy. A perfect day for laundry to dry on the line. Thus, I am about to go out and hang up a load.

Been hanging out here at the computer, waiting for my hour to be up. Today is my Boniva day, and as other users know, one has to stay upright, and not eat for an hour after taking the meds.

I think, I will try to finish the dog fence today.

Hi everyone! It's the first day of June and we just had one month with no rain so I am going out to turn on the sprinkler. Just finished folding a load of laundry and plan on writing a grocery list. Funny, though I am off of work (school's out) I find peace just keeping my household running.

Another thing, I just made airline arrangements for my elderly dad to visit three weeks from now so I'll be toting a notepad for ideas of what we can do during his visit and chores I might like to get done beforehand. Oh, happy day!

June first and it's sunny but chilly here out on Long Island.

We are going to celebrate our "42" wedding anniversary.. Gosh, has it been this many years??

Good morning. It's only 57 degrees here, and cloudy. I'm on lunch, but going back soon. I was off on Friday, and it was cheque day, so I'm swamped. If I was off today, I'd do some gardening, I don't like to do it when the sun is high, so today would be the perfect day.

Good Morning.

It was 49 degrees, cloudy, and "damp" this morning when I got up. Ugh.

I need to work in the garden areas that were roto-tilled a couple days ago and get the last six planters planted.

Now, where's that heavey sweatshirt?

Good Morning all, a little late. I had therapy and last Friday they started me on resistance therapy and ouch it hurts and hurts until the next therapy and it starts all over again. I bought some weights, LOL a one lb and two lb. Boy, I'm into the heavy stuff aren't I? I was told not to use the 2 lb yet even though I use it in therapy. Then I went to Olive Garden and had steak and pasta dish, shopped at Eddie Bauers. Here I sit.

Good afternoon everybody--another scorcher here today. Supposed to get up to 91 degrees. Woke up this morning to some very loud noise outside. They were pressure washing the house getting it prepped for painting. After it dried, they put a sealer on it. Now they're painting around the windows. Sure is nice not having to do all that ourselves.

I made a cucumber/dill salad for dinner tonight. We're grilling hamburgers and having leftover potato casserole. We don't use buns for our burgers anymore. I usually just saute mushrooms and carmelize some onion to serve on top.

I'm having a lazy day. May take a nap ;-)

Belated good morning all. It's been gorgeous here lately. Puts one in a good mood and makes you forget about your problems, stresses, pains and otherwise. I like to enjoy these days since the State Fair is only a few months away and as Midwesterners know, Fairtime is falltime!
