My lunch date with Glenda

As many of you know, Anna and I met Glenda for lunch on the way to Orlando last week. It was such a pleasure to meet that sweet lady and the food was yummy. I had planned to make her a batch of peanut butter fudge, but I simply ran out of time after thoroughly cleaning the house and yard and cooking Bob and his son enough meals for 5 to 6 days before I left.

Much to my pleasure and surprise she had a book and portable fan for Anna and a book about Paula Deen for me. She also made some of those yummy caramel covered Cheetos. We munched on them all the way to Orlando and also the first night while we watched fireworks. Those things are so delicious. It's hard to stop eating them.

I've read most of the book already and love seeing old pictures of Paula and her family.

We had a great time at WDW, but I'm glad to be back home. I had originally planned to leave sometime Wednesday afternoon to come home, spend the night somewhere along the way and contact Glenda again Thursday on the way back. I got sick Tuesday night so Anna and I left to come home about 9:30am Wednesday. I kept driving because I just wanted to be as close to home as I could. I wanted to go to bed, but I wanted it to be my own bed. It was after 9pm when we got to Birmingham so I didn't call Glenda. We got home between 12:30 qnd 1am.

I've been in bed most of the time since we got home. I did get up to mow the yard, wash a load of clothes and sweep the dog hair off the floor. Yesterday afternoon I took Anna to TaeKwonDo class and to church. Her youth group went to a Christian concert. My mother picked her up afterwards. I came home and went back to bed and have been there until just a few minutes ago.

I'm feeling better now so I'm going to catch up on all the KT posts I've missed.

Thank you again Glenda, for everything. You are such a nice hostess.

Linda
