Hey Glenda do you know any of the details?? I was thinking that you and I could meet up at the funeral home to go pay our respects. What do you think?

Orchidlaura, you have a very supportive and thoughtful intent for someone in an hour of need. It's very touching.

This is apparently a personal conversation between just you and another person. Wouldn't using email or a phone call be more appropriate?

I frequent Joel's downtown Trussville, when their menu calls my name :o) Sometimes I meet Linda from GA now from Al, who lives in Remlap Or there's The Summit, which is 459 for you coming from Trussville onto 280. I live close to The Summit. I have new wheels, will travel :o) Next week, first part is birthday for my son, turning 48, so maybe the end of the week or the next week? Will see how Linda's schedule goes. I have her email and phone number as well. Great to see you reconnected to the KT.

YOu CAN get a discount or maybe it's free BUT my insurance does not allow me to get it. I'm Blue Cross with PEHIP which is what I have as a retired educator, and PEHIP is not accepted. Some forms of Blue Cross are accepted but not mine. Call your gym accounting dept PLUS your insurance company and ask. I did both! There are many in my water aerobics that have that special Silver Sneakers discount. I WISH, but my membership is only $41 a month but a senior single. Personally, I enjoy reading about other members hooking up and it was very sweet of Laura to want to be supportive of Linda in her time of need.

you see some members have been friends for so long that this is a second home and although the post isn't directed to everyone, it's not a problem to keep in touch this way...

I see my mother wasn't the only one who didn't care for the more formal funeral...however for her brothers at the time, we shared, and she is in her hometown, and in the desert with my dad...

Yall really like it when we talk about our meetings and all the fun topics we hit on..we make it a habit not to talk much about the KT or the KTers

Okay Glenda your turn to pop in and us line up a day...I am thinking Thursday...I think I am going to fix Chicken Pasta Salad as a main course...do you want warm, room temp or cold??? It tastes good any way...Maybe serve it on Romaine lettuce leaves, some watermelon, and roasted fresh asparagus. Did I fix the peanut butter pie last time???May fix that, it is Tony's favorite...or get Molly to cook chocolate chip cookies or maybe fruit muffins...Hurry & reply before I go through everything I know how to cook...LOL

Thursday is game day at my place. Sorry! I'm just not sure about this week.

Thought we wee going to meet on my side of town. The Summit? Maybe the next week.

You two can play to meet! That's fine! Just don't know about this week for me.

Oh I just looked at my schedule. I am getting shots in my back on Friday...And an MRI on Wednesday, so maybe we should wait til next week. And it is fine to go over to your side of town Glenda...well with me...
