Guest Picks: Blue and White and Right All Over

Would love some help with choosing a paint colour to go with blue and white China in a bedroom

dora hif, I have a collection of Chinese blue & white porcelain that I use throughout our house. In the bedroom three of the walls are painted a "coffee au lait" color, sort of a light taupe. The accent wall behind the bed is a dark cocoa brown. I have used a blue and white porcelain Chinese garden stool as a table beside a darker taupe upholstered chair. The tailored bed skirt is a dark cocoa brown with a natural linen (light taupe) comforter and shams. I have used a brown & off white decorative throw pillows. I have used blue & white porcelain vases, ginger jars and a smaller oval platter that I use to place the jewelry that I wear most often. I have a couple of pieces of art work in the room that also contain some blue. Our furniture is a dark Ebony. Beautiful, but is a dust magnet. The neutral taupe/brown combo really sets a nice background for the blue & white accessories. The same color scheme carries into the Master bath. If I could only figure out how to post a photo, I would. But, I'm not very "techy". Have fun.
