Tomato pie recipe 3 cups chopped tomatoes, put in colander, salted to pull the juices and squeeze with paper towel. 9 inch pie shell, slightly browned, bottom pricked and egg wash. 1/2 onion thinly slicked (much better if you caramelize) 2 cups Italian cheese grated or cheddar will work 3/4 cup mayonnaise 1/3 cup chopped fresh basil 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/8 tsp Italian seasoning Place onions, then tomatoes, then top with basil in pie shell. Mix together mayo, cheeses, garlic and italian seasoning. Spread over pie Bake 350 25-45 minutes. Let cool completely, serve at room temp or slightly heated.

Thanks for asking! Being chaffeured today! Still no driving. Gal pal took me to pool, and I sat on the steps and let the water swirl around my legs, while everyone exercised. Another friend took me to Joe's Crab Shack, which is less then 3 minutes from my place. Great food, not so great getting comfortable in a sitting position. Slowly on the long road to now 5 more weeks of recovery. Doc said no more ice after today, and DEFINITELY no heat. BEWARD: Isle 7 at WalMart!

Here's the Fudge Pie that so many people made, hope this one is it. Fudge Pie 1 stick butter melted 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup flour 1/4 cup cocoa 2 eggs beaten 1 tsp vanilla. Mix sugar, flour, cocoa, eggs, vanilla until blended, stir in melted butter, Pour into regular thawed pie crust. Bake at 325 for 35-45 minutes. Mine bakes in 35 minutes. --------------------------- Here's another that I posted, but not sure if anyone made. Hershey Bar Pie 6 regular Hershey bars, with or without nuts 20 large marshmellows 1/2 cup milk 1 graham cracker crust cool whip Melt bars, marshmellows and milk in microwave on low - stir often until completely melted. Pour in pie crust Refrigerate until completely set Top with cool whip ENJOY!
