mixed knobs and pulls on upper cabinets?
Comments (4)You are right it doesn't look strange - they look great - brings interest! You also made a 13 yr old very happy! She wanted the different look but us - the parents - were not convinced. Your pics convinced us to go for it. thanks so much...See MoreUpper cabinet storage/pull out - WWYD?
Comments (14)I wonder if you could look at some of the base cabinet, blind corner stuff? Would it help to replace the upper shelf with lazy susans on the middle shelf? Would it help to replace the shelves with wire grid shelves? I might choose to install wood rollouts on the bottom but still use the wood shelves on the top. I might put a step riser in the back, tho, so stuff couldn't go so far back - or if it is in the back, that its raised up and visible. Labeled baskets are a good idea too. I think that if all three levels were pullouts, I'd need a ladder to even guess at what was on the top two shelves....See MoreWhat size cabinet pull for cabinets to ceiling?
Comments (5)My pulls vary on the uppers, from a 3" bunny head to a 5" bar pull. Some just have fat knobs. I personally don't like the look (unless it's a really modern kitchen) of long bar pulls on the upper cabinets. It's not like you need to grab several inches to open the door. My cabinets are shaker (modified style but close) and go up to the ceiling. The pulls I have are bulky but not super long (which would look awful with the other pulls in my kitchen)....See MoreCabinet pulls on 24 inch cabinet - is there a standard size?
Comments (0)Is there a standard rule or "formula" for deciding on what size of cab pull or drawer pull to use? Our 4 upper cabs will all be 24 inches wide, 36 inches tall with 4-6 inch crown molding and our drawers plus 2 cabs in the base cabs will also be 24 inches wide (small cottage kit). What do you all recommend? This would be for a white, shaker-style cab and drawer. Would love to see pics if available. Thanks very much!...See MoreControlfreakECS
