? re: UC Light Strips Under Frameless Cabinets

For our under-cabinet lighting, we're probably going to directly hardwire using T5 fluorescent light strips that do not need a separate hardwire box. I know that if the light strip is mounted at the front of the cabinet, the light rail will hide it.

But what about the cord that goes from the fixture back toward and into the wall? Framed cabinet owners have said that a small piece of the bottom lip of the cabinet box can be cut out so that the cord can pass through into the wall. But what happens with frameless cabinets? Does the cord have to go INTO the cabinet before it can go out again and into the wall?

I'd appreciate hearing from frameless cabinet owners who've installed UC light strips at the front of their wall cabinet boxes. Photographs would be lovely, too.
