Did anyone save the link to tv show?

A few months back, I posted a couple links to sites that let us know what shows were going to return after the strike. Did anyone save the links? I can't believe I didn't. I am wondering about Amsterdam. Hoping it will return in the fall. It just disappeared this spring as of a few weeks ago.

Thanx if you have the link or can tell me about New Amsterdam.

Looks like it's been cancelled as best I can tell from its own website.

I am with you bestlawn. I really liked that show. I DVR'ed them and was just looking them yesterday. The last one said "Season Finale" - but I had heard it wasn't renewed.

Life is coming back isn't it?

I wish Journeyman was - I liked that one too.

I really don't care much about TV now that it is back. I have been DVRing shows - but when I go to watch them, I end up quiting before it is over. Just lost interest I guess.

Maybe it smelled like a Industrial Hog Farm Operation. Ever drive by one of those? They are way worse than the Cattle Feed Lots lol. One time we were driving through Iowa and smelled the more horrific stench and this huge dump truck pulled in front of us complete full and overflowering with dead hogs. They were boated and reeked so bad we all almost started retching, and immediately were making sure the air vents were closed and the windows tightly shut. The kids were in the back seat and that was really something for them to see lol. They were making jokes about them taking the hogs to make dogfood or bologna lol. DH was desperately trying to get around this dead hog truck before we all just puked and died but we were stuck in traffic and everyone in the cars around us were holding their noses. When ever the truck moved a little, the bloated hogs on top would bounce around..some were hanging over the sides. The kids were making bets on if one would fall out, which surrounding vehicle they would land on. When we were finally able to get around the truck, we of course, just stared over to see who would drive such a putrid smelling truck and if he had a gas mask on or what? Noooo, the old guy had his window down, arm out smoking a cigarette like he was going to the hardware store or something. Hogs' juices were leaking down around him! It was like 98 degrees out. Thats when dh lost it and we had to pull over while he puked on the side of the road lol.

I think you are looking for the spec book. I got mine from the KD at Lowes. They usually have extras laying around as they get updated manuals every 3 months. If they don't have any extra spec books, you can go at any time without an appoinment and work on your own. Just ask them for the Schuler spec book and sit at the desk. My KD did not give it to me until she trusted I was committed to buying from there. Schuler can do almost any modification that you need so you can probably plan your kitchen based on standard cabinets and go from there. The sizes are standard in 3 inch increments. And yes, they are higher quality than Kraftmaid. When I got my Schuler cabinets at Lowes last Feb, plywood was standard construction. If plywood is no longer standard, I think the cabinet boxes themselves are similar but Schuler can do more modifications. I had a Kraftmaid kitchen in my house 5 years back and Schuler's quality is better. Also, I asked for 10% off the price when I was about to order. The manager at Lowes said okay right away. I would be wary of Lowes installers since that seems to be where people run into problems. Of course, there are good ones too, but you are playing roulette. Good luck. I would mail you my book but I am working on 2 bathrooms and I am using Schuler again. They are great!

I try to be up at 4am to watch Highway Patrol with Broderick Crawford and all the great 50s cars! Two-door squad cars... never saw one in real life but maybe they had them in California where it's supposed to take place. I remember watching Amos 'N Andy after school. It's downright sick that they pressured that show into hiding. So many other shows are far less politically correct but this is an example of hysteria ruling the masses. Here's over 5 hrs of Vintage TV faturing an episode of: Jack Benny Show, One Step Beyond, You Bet Your Life, Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Red Skelton Show, Dragnet, Milton Berle Show, This is Your Life, Andy Griffith Show, Mr & Miss North, Soupy Sales Show and more. Gotta love the internet, and the stations like THIS and MeTV for keeping this type of classic television around for those of us who appreciate it. Mr. Ed, Patty Duke Show, Beverly Hillbillies and all of them.

Yep. According to that site I was asking about, Life is coming back in the fall. I never got a chance to get into Journeyman and don't remember what the site said about it. Can't believe I didn't save it, and the thread is gone now.

Too bad about New Amsterdam. Maybe they didn't get the viewership, but people on the website are begging them to save it.

I'm with you. So much of TV is really boring. Watching House right now. It never disappoints.

I have never watched House.

I find myself not wanting to watch some shows - as I like them, then they cancell the. I figure, why bother, LOL

One of my favorites is 30 Rock. It is a show that you have to watch closely - but the humor is really good. I have found myself rewatching it on the DVR to pick up on the hidden jokes.

There was a good show on Sunday evenings, around 5:00 PDT, called Life is Wild, about a family who moved from NY to Africa & opened a lodge. It was a simple story but I really liked the characters. All of a sudden, it just disappeared. Has anyone heard anything about it???

Found the site. The Futon Critic says Life Is Wild and Journeyman were cancelled.
Nothing definite on New Amsterdam.

I was really enjoying Journeyman. It was interesting. The story took place in and around San Francisco so there were a LOT of familiar places for me.
I watched House once and couldn't stand that guy. My mother LOVES that show and thinks I should give it another try. There are so many popular shows that I have never watched. 30 Rock, Life With Earl (or whatever it is), The Office, Lost. I'm sure there are more. I don't know why I haven't either. I guess I feel like I watch enough TV, although I don't know when.

They move good shows around so much that it is difficult to find them. Boston Legal has moved to Wednesday instead of Tuesday. If people can't find a show they like, the ratings go down.
