Did anyone save Pappu's 'Big Stinking Mess' thread?
Comments (37)Maybe it smelled like a Industrial Hog Farm Operation. Ever drive by one of those? They are way worse than the Cattle Feed Lots lol. One time we were driving through Iowa and smelled the more horrific stench and this huge dump truck pulled in front of us complete full and overflowering with dead hogs. They were boated and reeked so bad we all almost started retching, and immediately were making sure the air vents were closed and the windows tightly shut. The kids were in the back seat and that was really something for them to see lol. They were making jokes about them taking the hogs to make dogfood or bologna lol. DH was desperately trying to get around this dead hog truck before we all just puked and died but we were stuck in traffic and everyone in the cars around us were holding their noses. When ever the truck moved a little, the bloated hogs on top would bounce around..some were hanging over the sides. The kids were making bets on if one would fall out, which surrounding vehicle they would land on. When we were finally able to get around the truck, we of course, just stared over to see who would drive such a putrid smelling truck and if he had a gas mask on or what? Noooo, the old guy had his window down, arm out smoking a cigarette like he was going to the hardware store or something. Hogs' juices were leaking down around him! It was like 98 degrees out. Thats when dh lost it and we had to pull over while he puked on the side of the road lol....See MoreA Harry Potter summer
Comments (30)No, but then I haven't looked. I like to deal with Costco whenever possible (DD works for them) but we don't have one within 50 miles, so I preordered the Half-blood Prince from them last year on their web site but they had a huge problem with their vendor and I didn't get the book when promised and so cancelled the order, got a refund, and walked into Sam's Club locally and bought one-they had loads of them! So that is what I plan to do in July with the final book. Both Costco & Sam's sell books much cheaper and if you have one locally you also save postage! Pat...See MoreHarry Potter 7th cont.
Comments (103)I see everywhere "Dumbledore can't be dead he was such a powerful how can he be killed off that easily." Well it is that easy when you use Avada Kedavra. It doesn't matter if you're muggle or a Order of Merlin 1st Class. If you get hit you're dead. Like a Wizard's Raid. Kills People Dead. Now I guess you can say his spirit might still be out there because a pheonix rose from the grave which is probably his spirit. Also his painting is in the headmasters office. There is probably an enchantment on the room to create a painting when the person dies. Now I don't think Dumbledore is as good as fooling an enchantment. Do you. Oh yeah and the idea of the inferi potion I can only see one problem with it. Not that many people have gone to the cave. In fact Dumbledore and R.A.B.(Regulus?) have been there. Well that's all except this forum is almost full so I'm starting a new one called Harry Potter book 7...See MoreHarry Potter Book 7
Comments (9)What i think is going to happen in the book, is very sad. i think that harry will live in the end. although the same can not be said for ron. i think that his is one the characters that will die in the book. he will be protecting harry or his family when it happens. as for the other, i think it will be hagrid who dies trying to save harry as well. snape will turn out to be a good guy, that only killed dumbledore as he was ordered. in the chapter of HBP snape was in my opinion being watched by wormtail when narcissa and bellatrix were there. he was listening at the door for the whole conversation, and i bet voldemort had him there to find out. he had more than once chance to kill harry, but he didnt. and i think that is because that he was in love with lilly, and that is the reason he despised james as much as he did. so he is a possibility to die as well. wormtail owes harry his life. dumbledore said that he didnt think that voldemort would want someone as one of his followers that owed a lifedebt to the person he was trying to kill. as for the horcruxes, we know there are 6 of them. the diary, the ring and the locket we know are half of them. so what are the other 3? well, it could be the cup that belonged to hufflepuff, and nagini would be the fifth, but what about the last one? its not harry, that much is clear to me. why would voldemort transfer a piece of his soul to the boy that he thought he had to kill that night? doesnt make sense to me. he marked him as his equal, and transfered powers yes, but not his soul. so the 6th and final horcrux is a mystery to me. we know from what dumbledore says that the 7th and final piece for harry to kill is voldemort himself. all i can guess is that the sorting hat and the sword are not one of them. i think that harry having his mothers eyes is going to play the biggest role of the book. it is mentioned over and over in the previous books, so there must be something significant there right? could it possibly be something like celtic magic? i think that draco will turn on voldemort and realize the errors of his ways. he couldnt go through with killing dumbledore, he was scared and couldnt do it. he knew what had to be done as ordered by voldemort and still couldnt do it. he will not die, but will turn out to be a teacher at hogwarts at the end of the book. someone will find a cure for lupin and he and tonks will end up living a very happy life together. with ron dying, that opens the possibility of harry hermione getting together. and personally, that would make more sense then hermione and ron. bill and fleur will get married at the beginning of the book. mcgonagal will become headmistress at hogwarts, hagrid will become head of Gryffindor, slughorn will remain as potions teacher, and head of slytherin, and someone new will teach transfiguration. not sure about DADA class. someone new will probably be introduced. i believe that filch will......See Morepirula
