Spirits visit at sister house.....picture

This is the picture I took of my sister, all the others were crystal clear, but this one. We think mom and dad were with us this day, in fact we are sure of it. The picture taken right before it showed a vague smokey type substance further back behind her, and this one was the next shot. The photo after this one is clear. This was taken about 10 am on Saturday morning. It is a lot more pronounced in the real photo.

This one picture made our day. I have had this camera for several years, and never had anything like this appear, ever. What do you think?

Christmas Spirit?

Christmas will be sooooooooooooooooooo different here this year as well.I always go overboard with decorating and gifts. But a few years ago all my friends and i agreed to not give each other gifts anymore as we all had what we needed and wanted and our families were growing with grands and great grand, and like we said we didn't need gifts to prove our friendshps. It was hard getting used to it but we did. My grands have all moved away and i still send pkgs to them, they will be smaller this year, but the kids are young still all under 4,and they like anything. Since i'm battleing this BC this year,i can't get out to do a lot of shopping either, and i'll have my 4th chemo the day before christmas,so i know i won't feel up to doing all that decorating, and my DH has never helped with the decorating either. He's one of the Bah Humbug guys when it comes to xmas. I'll still enjoy mu xmas movies and my tv shows though. It'll be different,i'll survive it though. Kathi

Would I Be Wrong to Get a Cat for Sister

I'm sending positive thoughts both to your sister and to Mikey. I hope they're both progressing well. Definitely keep up on the recall news. Even some of the premium brands are tainted. I feed my cat Purina Naturals, and that's made with corn gluten, so it's not on the recall list. I remember how depressed my grandmother was when my grandfather died, until an alley cat adopted her. Because he was an outdoor cat primarily, a few years later he fell afoul of a car, but while my grandmother had him she visibly perked up, became more interested in life, and couldn't give in to grief and depression because Dur needed to be fed. Dur wanted out. Dur wanted back in again. Dur wanted to play. Dur wanted up on her lap. Dur had to be petted. He was demanding, but he needed her and loved her. He made such a difference in her life. Pets are natural healers. Can't really argue against warm cuddles, soft purring, and fluffy hugs. I wish your sister and Mikey the best.

My knowledge of her telling him to do this is from her reaction to it. the whole story: My brother and I were playing outside, he was like 3 times my size, i was pretty small as a child, and he was kinda husky. we were throwing the baseball and he turned his head to look at a passing car, as I did, but I didn't see him look. So when my attention went back to the game, i threw the ball and it hit his arm. He yelled at me and ran inside. I knew I was in for it, so I crawled onto the swing set to get high enough up so he couldn't do anything. He came out and told me to get down because she had told him to hit me back. I said no, so he scratched my back with the mit, i was hanging onto the top bar. SM came to the door and called us in for lunch. After lunch my brother went into the living room. We had a rule that we were supposed to clean our area of the table when we got done, so i knelt down to get a paper towel from below the sink. When I knelt down, everything went blurry and I fell backward. When I looked up, he was looking at her standing in the doorway with a look like kids have as if to say "ok i did it, mom." she looked down at me, turned and walked away. Other things to back up what she would do are: She always defended her son. Once he was chasing me with a piece of water hose trying to knock me off of a bike, I jumped off, ran in to my dad and started telling him my brother was trying to hit me. I said I had dropped the bike at the back door to come in. Brother followed and told them i had jumped off the bike and just left it laying without putting the kickstand up. They asked if I had and i said yes but that he was trying to hit me off the bike, i had to get away. She paddled me, not him. Once, my brother had me by the neck in the floor of his room and was choking me cause I touched the Nintendo, which we were supposed to share. I reached for the control and he grabbed me by the head and pulled me back, got on top of me and was choking me. SM passed by the room looked in for a moment, me looking up at her, then walked away. My sister then came looking for me and saw what was going on and screamed, she was only about 3 though. That is when SM intervened. A lot of defending my brother. He would hit me, he was a rough boy. I would tell, she would call me a tattle tale and paddle me. So i told my mom, my mom talked to my dad and it was said that if she wouldn't defend me then i would take care of myself. He hit me so i hit him back the next time defending myself and she paddled me for hitting. As I said, he was about 3 of me though. When I was roughly 4, I started a new pre-school, being new, I was kinda shy and stuff still. She called my pre-school when I was 4 and told them I had lice. I didn't, the school nurse checked me. The director of the school told us she had received a call from her.

I saved this picture too. I loved it. I think you're right. I believe she was visiting her sister who had been dealing with health issues, maybe cancer. I think Trin felt it was her mom/ dad with them that day.

I definately see a face in the 'smoke' nearest your sister - a man's face, frowning... looks a little like Gerald Ford maybe? I can see a smiling face in the 'smoke' further away - it's a little harder to make out though.

I tried to enlarge the faces on Printshop, but it didn't really work. Maybe someone else will have better luck.

Yes, I think you and your Sis had company that day!

I don't see a face, but it's interesting. :)

A story just now came out on Fox News (Linked to The Sun) with this picture below. You can clearly see a hand on the banister. EEEK!

Blessings,
Haley

That is so interesting Trin! If you both feel that your parents were there, then I think you are right.

My Dad died in the house that we now live in. We moved here about 5 years after his death. Many times when I was standing at my kitchen sink I would see (from the corner of my eye) someone standing outside the window and when I looked straight at it, there would be no one there. But I knew it was my Dad and it always put a smile on my face.

Maryann,
It's funn that you mention seeing someone out of the corner of your eye. When I was at sisters, and only in her kitchen late at night, twice I saw someone out of the corner of my eye. I took pictures, but nothing ever came of it.
I am not sure if I mentioned that when sis and I were growing up at about age 4 and 6, she always saw a man eating dinner with us every Sunday at grandmas house. She always just knew it was grandpa. It wasn't until just this last summer, she happened to mention it in passing, and I told her that grandpa had died long before we were born. She about fell over. She swears there was always a man there, and if she ever saw a picture of him she would know if it was grandpa or not. Sadly, no one in the family has a picture of him after age 13 or so. But I am still looking! I think, if there is such a thing, my sister seems to "attract" spirits from beyond. crazy, I know, but she just seems to be one of the chosen.

Cool picture Haley!

Here is Trinity's picture with the faces I see circled. The top one's chin is the white spot.. if you look above the spot you should be able to make out the mouth, nose and eyes. The other circled face is much more obvious I think.

Wow Lydia that's cool. I can definitely see both faces. You have to really concentrate to see the top one but I can definitely see it.

Haley - that's pretty amazing seeing the hand on the banister.

Wow that's awesome. I also believe. This is a really good example to. I bet people that study the paranormal would love to see this. Although I'm sure it is very personal for you. Any chance you could post the before picture also. The one with the "smoke" behind your sister. Who has very pretty hair by the way.

Amazing! Yes,I think your mom and dad were definitely there.I believe there are spirits all around us! One afternoon DGS,about 6 at the time, came running into the house and told DD he saw the shadow of a man in the garage. They were out in the country so naturally she was kind of freaked.SIL went out and looked around but couldn't see anything.Since then there have been other incidents of seeing "Shadow Man" and they have come to take it in stride.A few months ago they were at her best friends house. The house they live in was built by her friend's DH's grandparents and they lived there for more than 30 years.Anyway, they were looking at some of the friends old family pictures and came across one of grandma and grandpa and DGS said,"Mom,that's Shadow Man!" so I guess grandpa is still roaming around out there!LOL
Trin-I am so glad you had such a good visit with your sister.I can tell it did both of you good!

A dog for sure!! we were raised by several dogs. But our french poodle Bridgett comes to mind. She was the first dog that us kids grew up with. She was a small poodle, and our mother spoiled her terribly. Wow! I never would have thought. Yep, for sure that is Bridgett.
She would be hanging with mom and dad for sure.
