Im torn between the 1st and 3rd faucets... but at first glimpse, i like #1

I like #1. If memory serves, that's the one I liked from the beginning. I think it will stand the test of time better than the other two. Love the tile btw.

I liked this one from the first post, but didn't vote. I love a taller spout. Can't wait to see the finished results. I LOVE that tile going in too!

I love the Grohe Allure's combination of round and straight lines. (Disclaimer: all my faucets are Grohe and I've had great luck with them, so I am biased!).

I think your tile choice is inspired, it will be gorgeous!

Sumnerfan and Coastal--I didn't post #1 last time! The very first pic on thread, the Delta, was everyone's choice before. But it feels too plastic and cheap. (Sorry Delta!)

The one you like now, #1 Aquabrass Bluprint, is very similar, but it's not the same. It must look close enough that you didn't notice. Which is good. I like the look of the Delta, but not the feel IRL.

I think the others are a little too modern and slick. Going by the tile you chose, the bathroom will have a very chic look that will be enhanced by the tall and elegant spout. IMO. Are there matching lav faucets?

I like #1! Agree with coastal on the tall and elegant. :) Good luck with your choice. Sorry about the Delta, what a bummer, but you are right to stick with quality.

Here's the lav faucet that matches #1 Aquabrass Bluprint. There is a two handled version also, but I must put function (single-handle) over form on this choice. It's hard to tell, but the handle is exactly the same as the tub filler.

And here, again, is the lav that matches #3 Grohe Allure.

I've sort of changed my mind. I actually like the shape of #1 but I think it needs to have a slightly stronger presence. - maybe slightly thicker and little rounder. I don;t know. But I still really like Grohe allure sink lav. Any others close to that that were in the running?

OMG!! I'm so excited! I posted this on the Bathroom Forum as well. You'll never guess what someone posted. Delta is owned by the same company as Brizio. Brizio puts out an almost identical faucet to Delta's, but higher end. This is amazing. Look at the Brizio:

Wait....never mind. My plumbing showroom person said the valves and finish on the Brizio are the same as Delta's only it costs more. OK, do we like #1 or #3 then?

We have Brizo faucets in our kitchen and they are NOT plasticky. They have a great feel and although it's been only four years, they're still like new. Go see one in person before you rule it out. Delta has several levels of quality, and they absolutely do range from plasticky to very nice.

I vote for Brizo...if it's good quality! :)

Alku--apparently some manufacturers are very recently value engineering their products to a lesser quality finish. My Delta kitchen faucet was real metal and was decent quality. Now it wouldn't be.

I'm considering driving 40 minutes on Monday to the nearest showroom that has Brizio to touch the Brizio IRL to see if it really is plasticy like my saleswoman says.

Lavender--I agree. If brizio is good, that's my choice.

Blfenton--the delicate, thinness of #1 bothers me slightly too. Nothing else comes close to the style of the spout of the Delta except the Rohl Cisal Wave, but it's about $1800 and the handles are odd. But maybe....

Have you considered the Rohl WAVE 4-Hole Deck Mounted Bathtub Filler with Lever Handles and Handshower (Product #WA26L)? The faucet has a gorgeous arc, and the bases are square. They also have a couple of cool wall mounted and deckmounted single lever lav faucets that match.

I have used both Aqua Brass and Hansgrohe fixtures before, and the quality is excellent.

The Brizio. The curve of the faucet mimics the curved lines in the tile. Nice.

Davidro--what exactly do I ask in the enpmail to Brizio! The only way I can think of wording it is "are your faucets now made with cheap plastic cr@p like Deltas are?". I don't think tat would go over very well.

Kay--I did consider it, but it's about $1800! I know it would be excellent quality, but the cost is high. Thanks for your experience with Aquabrass. I like some of their faucets, but wasn't sure of quality as I'd never heard of them before.

I guess I have expensive tastes, lol. Seriously, I had no idea the Rohl was that expensive. I remembered seeing it in a showroom because it was very striking, but it was one of those places where they make you track down someone to ask the price. I couldn't stomach that price either.

In our last house, between 2 baths, we used Aquabrass for 4 lav faucets, one tub set and one combo shower/tub set. We installed in 2005, and it still looked and worked great in 2010 when we moved out, so I know that as of 2005, at least, they were making a great product. Our faucets felt heavy and sturdy, and they had a really nice brushed nickel finish. We also used a Hansgrohe wall bar shower head in the master shower, and we loved that too. We found good prices on the faucets at Homeclick.com.
