My Egg Retrieval is tomorrow

I have to be there at 7:15 so I'll update as soon as I can.

It would've been nice if they could've let me go one more day because I have alot of follicles that aren't quite ready but my hormone level was getting too high, which ultimately could've compromised my cycle had it gone much higher. So they decided to do the ER tomorrow and risk getting less eggs, but better quality. I'm supportive of their decision.

But it's pretty unlikely they'll end up with 18 eggs like we got last time. As long as I have enough for this cycle and enough to freeze a few in case this cycle doesn't work. I'd rather not start over with another fresh cycle if this one doesn't work.

There really isn't a set time table for laying. Years ago, I had Blues build complete nests in two different boxes and then they went elsewhere. I've read that sometimes first year breeders will take a bit longer to lay. I've had some that build a nest and there is an egg the day the nest is finished. My suggestion would be to be patient and see what they do. They may surprise you. You may end up with your first egg by tomorrow, or maybe next week, or maybe not at all. I'm hoping for tomorrow. Thank you everyone for the advice. I'm still as lost as ever. My mom, judiegal, is picking up a book for me called the natural vets guide to preventing and treating cancer. The reviews are all great and I'm hoping it will give me an idea of the supplements and food I should give her. After so much research I've found that my dogs, and so many pets everywhere, are getting improper diets. I thought I had my dogs on such great food, it's expensive and holistic, no preservatives... but it's not what they should be eating. I strongly suggest any one here who never really researched pet foods to do so. And there is false information out there about too much protein causing health problems, but if you read the research and articles written by veterinarians, you'll see that dogs should be having more meat and low to no grains. Still though, there are so many food options. Thanks again everybody. I have another thread in the discussions section and I've been getting great advice from everybody. You all are so supportive and kind and I thank you all for taking time out of your days to help me! My "friends" wont even answer their phones, and they don't really understand my passion for animals anyways. Thanks again. I'll still accept more advice! I'm putting all my questions down to ask the oncologist tomorrow.

Thank you all so very much. I got to bring her home yesterday afternoon. She was still very groggy and didn't want to get out of the car, so I sat with her in the car for a couple of hours until DH got home. He lifted her out and put her on our bed. She's getting some serious pampering. We should have the results of the biopsy by Monday, and on Tues she will have the stitches taken out. I was a wreck yesterday....
