When he was performing with Queen both Joe and I said they should hire him for their lead singer. Good for him!

Some of you might be mixing up Queen with Kiss. Adam performed with Kiss. He did sing a Queen song which was fantastic. Personally, I think Adam would be great on his own, and frankly he's got the talent to blow others out of the water with HIS own name. As a replacement for Freddie Mercury, the deceased Queen lead singer, I'm not so sure Adam is the right fit. Just my opinion.

When their song (We Are the Champions) ended, the lead guitarist had a little chat with Adam as the audience was applauding and they were going to commercial...

I think it woud be better for Adam if he didn't become Queen's lead singer. It's impossible to fill the shoes of someone who is a legend. If he just wants to do a few songs with them later as Adam Lambert and Queen it might work. Adam needs to make a name for himself first.

I think Adam should go solo, or start his own band like Chris Daughtry did. I dont think he should join an already famous band whose previous singer is a legend in his own right.

Adam will do just fine on his own....in fact, I think he'll do alot better than Kris will.

Maura: Thanks for setting me straight. Don't know how I missed them performing with Queen, but I did. I'll have to check out "On Demand" for that performance.

I do think Adam should make his own name for himself. He's extremely talented and he will go far solo or with his own band.

I agree that Adam's career will be more successful than Chris' - which is one of the reasons why I "think" Chris won....b/c Adam is already on his way which opens a bigger door for Chris, which would have been less likely.

Ditto Stephmc72. He already has such worldwide name recognition, and trying to fill a legend's boots would be a mistake. Maybe as a limited international AL & Q tour, with mostly Q oldies and perhaps a couple Adam will record under his own name.

Was/am a Queen (circa Freddie Mercury) fan.

Would NOT buy any *new* Queen featuring Adam Lambert.

I am not anti-Adam (though I am a Kris fan if I had to pick) -- but Queen just wouldn't be the same.

For some things, there are just no substitutions.
