Accent walls/coordinating colors for Accessible Beige in Bay home?
Comments (3)I saw a video on Pottery Barn's website that made me think of your question. PB has a curated Sherwin-Williams line that includes both Accessible Beige and Extra White, so I thought that might serve as a good starting place for you for inspiration. Here's a link to their recommended colors: https://www.potterybarn.com/tips-and-ideas/bring-out-the-best-in-your-home-with-neutral-colors/...See MoreHelp with coordinating house paint colors
Comments (12)Do you know what colors make your heart sing? When I look through the things I have bought and things that I love there are a couple of themes. My closet shows that I own a lot of really clean bright colors that I wear in the summer (coral, lime, fuchsia, lemon yellow) and I also own a lot of purples, teals, deep reds, jeans, some white, cream, black, gray, no tan or brown and more taupe, white and cream than any other neutral. Yes I have a more colorful wardrobe than many. If I look at the things I treasure (art, vases, things) I see that my affinity for purples, reds, teals is obvious. In my home I have slate flooring in my foyer, which is purple/red/green slate (one of the things I fell in love with when I bought the house). When I picked the flooring, tile, paint colors for the rest of the house I worked with the things that I own and the things that I love to select colors. I am still renovating, so I am tweaking things as I go, but here is the picture of color selections with my flooring and art....See MoreHow to colour coordinate house brick, siding, concrete block exterior
Comments (18)Thank you thank you ALL so much for these amaaaazing comments and support for the colour and landscaping - truly grateful for such a great response. We have considered a back deck - it's one of our upcoming investments we are planning for. And we are getting the entire front yard graded... so we'll be able to properly planted beds - strategically placed to take some attention off the block. We love the drama of the darkest charcoal colour - wow that image attached of the charcoal house is amazing! @housegal200 Thank you @celerygirl for so many colour options - leaning toward the gray shades, on the darker side. We totally plan no shutters. don't plan to paint the brick, and... maybe we will, cause we love to veer when it's a good choice- even if it's last minute. Our plan is to xeroscape overall and have garden beds. Thank you all so much!! we'll check in again in case you have more inspiration to share!! xoxoxoxo...See MoreHow to Coordinated painted ceilings through my ranch house
Comments (3)Paint them all the same color and for sure not red. In my house I did the ceilings the same as the walls I have a 50’s MCM ranch with 8’ ceilings and I like the look but my walls are avery pale gray so it works. BTW red in a bedroom is a color not usually suited to bedrooms wher erestful sleep in the order of business, I do however like red in a DR . Without knowing anything about your space I think it will be hard to get help. Post some pics of the rooms you are talking about that will help us....See Moremlraff53
