Down to two colors for ceiling, Help me choose

I have my ceiling color narrowed down to two choices. Benjamin Moore Jute AF-80 and Hush AF-95. Both colors are from the affinity collection. My wall color will be BM Wheeling Neutral HC-92. Wheeling neutral has green undertones.

Jute AF-80 from what I have been told has a very light yellowish undertone that makes it appear greenish.

Hush AF-95 has red and greenish undertones.

Out of both of these I am stuck on which one to choose from!:(

So frustrating, I have been at this for months and now I have narrowed it down and still can't decide which would pair well with wheeling neutral?? My decor has burnt orange and muted greens if this helps.

Please help me choose the right one. And Thank you in advance for any help!

I'd recommend buying BM's paint sample cans, painting a few large white boards (Hobby Lobby or Michael's) and blue taping them to the ceiling. Live with them for a few days, moving them around occasionally, This way you can see how they look in the room vs. the paint chip.

I wish I was so lucky to have it paired down to 2 choices!

Samsung have a rep for building and selling a lot of good stuff at rock bottom prices but getting pretty snarly when some nobody gets stuck with one of their lemons. It is an attitude that seems to be gaining ground among many foreign appliance makers these days and some that are native to North America as well. Given the odds, your best bet is getting the Costco Samsung you like with the total of 5 years Costco/SquareDeal warranty coverage (final three for an extra $100). Good viewing!

I do think that I am leaning toward the girls. However, like amysrq, that lack of experience worries me. I am most afraid that the young girl will end up being the primary agent and that the manager will disappear into her busy life after securing the listing. The boss talked the whole time during the interview and did almost all of the presenting and the girl said almost nothing, except "yeah" with a big smile. They said they donÂt use assistants Â they just do it all themselves. Does this mean that the young girl IS the assistant? Sounded like the girlÂs number and pager would be on the sign and sheÂd be receiving all the calls about the house. But I donÂt have confidence that she could negotiate well or field crap-offers or deal with any surprises at the closing. She seemed more interested in "playing house" and staging and creating pretty flyers and writing copy and oohing and ahhing. Which is great and what I meant about enthusiasm, but I also need someone strong to get me through the legalese, business and monetary details The boss seems like a good negotiator, but when I asked if theyÂd both be present at the closing or if theyÂd both be presenting offers, they gave each other a "look" and the boss then revealed that she was also the office manager and had 2 kids who were always at some event or another, so it would be "hard to predict which one of us would handle the offers or closing." This team is in the same office as one of the 7% dynamos that I chatted with for 3 hours but ultimately decided not to use, so IÂm not sure if that is a conflict or not. I also sent the girl an email this morning, and she still hasn't responded, which to me isn't a good sign. The boss responded very quickly to my email last night - but so far nothing from the girl. I simply must be able to communicate by email with my agent - especially if I'm going to be out of town/already moved while the house is on the market. So... does this change anyone's mind? Are my worries justified? Or I am just being nit-picky? I don't have a problem with helping to train a new agent, but I need some kind of reassurance that the business end will be handled appropriately.

patty Congrats on your remodel I guess I would ask what other elements are in the room? what color appliances, hardware, stools, furnishings, natural light, window treatments,rugs, wall color, lighting etc I can't see the flooring - posting a pic may help Picking a counter is very individual & we all "see" differently You noted a natural tumbled backsplash as likely - I read the TB - as warming up your palette - your cabs are considered cool - so I my initial reaction is I prefer that - I like warm/cool elements but again depends on the rest of the palette & your personal taste The NC reads cool to me - If that is used the rest of the elements should be cool - fabrics, hardware, wall color etc - or you will have colors that are fighting each other - a honed crema marfil backsplash wouldn't work, but a carrara would - tan/beige paints wouldn't work, but blues/greys would Another twist you could consider is having each sample honed & see if that helps to make a decision - that will give you 4 options and also sounds like you have some room to negotiate with the stone yard esp on the TB they want to move - offer 20% discounted pricing on that one if that is the one you would like, even if not, that may help to drive the decision Good luck

oh my gosh jennifer it took my up to a year just deciding on a wall color. Now I am searching for a ceiling and I just got started. It started with using the same wall color but lighter for the ceiling. I didn't like it though. Then to Manchester tan. Then Frappe af-85...oakwood manor 1095...sandy white 2148, now I am on Hush af-85 and jute af-80. Each one I looked at for over a week. With the samples and the large white boards you mentioned. I know what a painstaking process this is lol. I don't know whether knowing the about the undertones, warm/cool makes it any easier. Now I am unsure about jute and hush with my wall color.
I have new choices now. BM Twisted Oak path and chatsworth cream, maybe even Abingdon putty.
I need a miracle to help me with all these choices. I want it to be perfect and feeel right. I know there are a lot of people right here on these forums going through the same thing.

Last ceiling I painted, I found the color changed from the white board to the actual ceiling -- a lot. I was working with a tray ceiling, so I had several different angles. When you get serious about a color, no sub for getting it on the wall/ceiling.

Do you have crown moulding in the room that will separate the ceiling color from the wall? If so, skip this and just paint the ceiling the same as the wall color. It will look different anyway, because it is a horizontal plane rather than a vertical plane like the walls.

But if you want one of the ones you have chosen, I would go with Hush 95. Then let the green and orange accents in the room bring in other colors.

Thank you les yes I do have crown moulding. I think I need to lighten hush 25% maybe and see how it turns out. It Looks darker then on the ceiling next to wheeling neutral. I hope it works out. I still have a few other color options I would like to try.
