Morning Kt! It poured rain yesterday afternoon and night. It's raining again today. At least it's warm out too, but really dark in here. I was hoping to do some yard work but I guess I won't be afterall.

So, it's housework only, and laundry.

We're having leftover shish cabob tonight: beef, zuccini, onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers with corn on the cob and hard rolls. Yum! What's for dinner at your house?

I need to clean my car out too. It's awfully dusty and was a little embarrassed to have them work on it yesterday.

Do you have any plans for the weekend? Not me, just going to work around the house and relax. Maybe go visit a friend who's birthday is early this coming week. I'm also over halfway through Duma Key, the lastest Stephen King book and it's getting good, so will be reading that later today.

Good morning,

No plans for this weekend...and trying not to make any. I need a couple of unscheduled days.
I do need to get to the bookstore, out of books.
Finished reading "Islands" by Ann Rivers Siddens....What a fantastic book !

I have a couple of items up on Craig's List...one, I got 3 offers overnight. Watching them, maybe make a little money sitting here.

Good morning!

I'm looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend. I have a baby shower to go to this evening. It's someone in Jammer's family and it's kind of a family party. They will be serving dinner. Other than that I have nothing planned. Probably church on Sunday morning. Our weather here is warm and sunny, but we are having a lot of wind this morning. Light breezes are normal here, but this is a pretty strong wind. If it slows down I will probably sit on the porch swing and read awhile. I'm reading The Book Thief which is very good. It's not a subject matter that I like to read about (Nazi Germany), but I read 100 pages the first day and 150 the next, so I am into it.

I only have experience with Heavenly Blue MG's and they did not do well in a pot. They did indeed insist on climbing and then I think they just ran out of root space because they suddenly stopped growing and flowering.

Paint: I would wait on selecting a color until you have your furniture and accessories chosen. The present color (in picture anyway) feels washed out and a creamy white would be more modern and crisp. - Built in‘s/tv location: with the width on both sides of fireplace being different, you’ll have to configure bookcases accordingly, if going that route. Suggest holding off on making a mantle change until you figure out wall - try to envision whole wall in your decisions Really like look below - Seating layout: really like your inspiration picture and as per the layout, centre to fireplace. If space in front of window feels bare, you could add the console table there vs behind couch as you enter

Hard to order anything bulky that doesn’t get abused and arrive with some damage. Can you live with it? If not, I hope you didn’t destroy the packaging even more because you will be required to repackage it and send it back in most cases. Maybe you can get a slight discount for the damage? The problem with ordering anything is if you need to return it.

Update on the day: The living room is so clean. The floor looks fantastic, the furniture is polished, fabrics are washed, cords are corralled. I’m even up to date on the Murdaugh trial, having listened to the Netflix doc at the same time. The poor kitty ventured out once the vacuuming stopped. I haven’t done much in there ever since DH moved his office home…noise, bustle, commentary, meals, etc. But now it looks so good, the dining room next door to it wants a spa day, too! For now, I’m going to collapse in a clean chair with a glass of wine and watch something entertaining.

I'm with Monica--nothing if I can help it. Leftovers for supper. It's been a busy couple of weeks with painting, moving furniture around, having company (which means cooking and cleaning). I'm tired and not even dressed yet today! We'll watch the Derby later. An Ocala group has a horse (Visionnaire) so I'll be rooting for him.

Good morning. I'm tired today, and I need some down time too. It's raining here, so it's a good day to relax. My daughter and I are going for pedicures, and I have a couple of errands, but not much else going on.

Not much doing here either. I need to go grocery shopping but what's the rush...lol I am dressed and have done a few meger things. We are having a block wall constructed around our backyard so the contractor is here. Mike will be home in a little while so will go and do my thing then.

Dinner tonight is Mahi Mahi fish, steamed rice and green beans.

Our weather is beautiful plenty of sunshine and in the low 70's right now with no wind.

The rain finally stopped and the sun is out. I may get to do some gardening afterall. One of Lauren's friends came over to spend the night and they went to walk to the local park a few minutes ago with a lunch. She's becoming more independent and it's scary, walking home from school with her friends or to girl scouts, etc...

Nothing much here today, woke up to a cloudy morning but the sun is out now and it is about 65. Makayla and Kaden are outside playing for a bit, no dinner here tonight. I have a candle party to go to at one of my neighbor's and Makayla will go with me while DH keeps Kaden, they are going to order pizza! Tomorrow we are going to festival, hope fully there will be no rain.
