I love Palladian Blue--it's one of my favorites! You have such wonderful colorful taste. I think your yellow is nice, and goes with all the other colors. IMO it could go a bit brighter, but whether you increase the intensity is probably dependent upon your cab colors. You wouldn't want something too yellow with certain stains, as it might take away from the cabinets.

Your punch seems to come from the fun chandelier and pretty tile...and probably some great colorful accessories!

Wonderful palette!

DD2 has a collection of those plates from Anthropologie. She mixes with larger, solid dinner plates, since they only came small.

Her kitchen, laundry and guest bath are BM Saybrook Sage. The LR/DR (open), guest rooms, MBath and two small hallways are BM Frappe (Aura color). Her MBR is a custom color - a medium blue/green, with leaning more blue. The Frappe has enough yellow in it to give her what she wanted, without being perky.

Great choices, but you really won't see if you like them or they work until you get samples on the walls. Be sure and buy "crap paint" for those quarts (if they don't come ready in sample pots - the Frappe and Saybrook Sage do.

To me, your color palette manages to be both rich and fresh at the same time- it's soothing, cheerful, and eclectic. I agree with firsthouse, the intensity of the yellow is somewhat dependent on the tone of your cabinets. If you go for the stain/glaze shown, I would stick with your creamy yellow. But, if you went with say a browner selection as mentioned, I feel like you could get away with a richer (not necessarily brighter) yellow.

Thanks for the feedback. What do y'all think about ceiling colors? If I use Pompeii for trim color, do you normal go lighter? In the dining room, I might consider the wall color as the ceiling, but I'm just not sure. I don't want it to get too dark. I'm afraid that a 60% of Spiced Apple Cider will look too peachy.

I love your color choices and they appear to go very well together. I also LOVE your kitchen hardware. I have some crystal knobs like that, but they are clear. I love the green. Regarding the ceiling, when I painted my bedroom I used BM Sand Dunes on the walls, Beach House Beige on the trim, and then a lighter version of Sand Dunes on the ceiling. I don't remember the proportions, but I think it was a standard kind of percentage that the guy at the store suggested when you don't want white on the ceiling but instead want a lighter version of your wall color. Maybe 2/3 ceiling white and 1/3 wall color? I can't remember, but it came out great. Can't wait to see your finished photos!

I like those colors, and that chandy, cool. I was in a consignment store on Tuesday, and they had that chandy. Do you already have it? If not, let me know if you live near the Philadelphia suburbs, maybe you are nearby and could grab a good deal!

Beekeeperswife - Yes, I have the 5 light chandy. The photo is the 3 light. DH got it for me last year for my b-day, and it's sitting in the garage waiting to be installed. He bought it at Anthropologie, but I found the mfg who is Italian. I wanted a smaller version for my island, but I just couldn't spend that much $$ as the mfg was asking. BUT if you are nearby and can check out the price and how many bulbs ....YES, I want to know more!! I ended up settling for those Ballard Design pendants, because they were very affordable and still gave me a fun look. I had some earlier posts in the lighting forum when I was pondering what to do there. But we haven't actually purchased any lights, so yes, I would love to know what it would cost.

I think Anthro is in the Philly area, yes? Maybe that's why it was in a nearby store. I actually received another chandy originally, but there were 3 broken flowers. Anthro sent me a new one and I returned the original one. I even wonder if that one could be the one with broken lights! :)

home4sale, I stopped by my favorite place. The one there has five lights. Is yours made to look vintage? This one says "vintage" on it, but quite frankly these old biddys don't have a clue sometimes! Does yours have a light that points downward too, aiming at the table below? This one does.

Anyway, it really does look like yours, of course I didn't have my phone or I would have snapped a picture.

OMG! That is awesome! I wonder if it needs to be re-wired. Maybe it really is vintage. I have a few photos of my actual chandelier, but they aren't very good. I can't remember if there's a light pointing downward to the table. I will go out into the garage, unpack it all, take a nice photo and re-post. The other thing I might need to consider is if I would want a 5 light chandy over the island...would it be to large and centered? What do you think?

Beekeeperswife - did that chandy have glass flowers? That would be so awesome if it did. No, mine doesn't have a light that shines underneath. Only 5 candles. There is a glass flower on the bottom though that faces down. The paint is an ivory color, a little distressed but not overly. It's difficult for me to get a photo when it's not hung, but here are some outside on a sunny day.
