IMO, the cabs and furniture need to coordinate, but not necessarily match. For example, we have white perimeter cabinets in the kitchen with merlot colored hood & island. Kitchen is open to family room with 2 built-ins in a slightly off white color. Cubbies are just around the corner from kitchen and can be seen through the doorway--they are also slightly off white. There is enough distance between the whites that you don't notice they don't match--they just coordinate. Our master bedroom furniture has a mahogany finish with antiqued gold pulls, the master bath has espresso vanities with antique pewter pulls and you can see from one room into the other. Again, they are just far enough apart that you really don't notice the difference & they coordinate. Stained furniture can be coordinated with painted vanities/cabinets & vice versa. Unless you're planning something totally outlandish, I think you'll be just fine. Hope this helps!

To answer your direct questions: Put the darker color behind the bed headboard and then decide if you want one accent wall (usually a lot of contrast) or if you want to have two walls each color. The Santorini Blue is not baby blue, but I would put a color swatch in your room to see how it looks in different light if you decide to go in that direction. Glass Slipper is more ice blue than baby blue. I LOVE the Santorini blue, but thought it was too dark to have on all four walls. Your bedding is very neutral and very pretty. When I look at it I think "irredesence" or opal. Everyone does this differently, but I tend to decide what I want a room to FEEL like and then go from there. For our bedroom I thought "sleeping in the clouds". Hence, I have blues, whites, creams and beige. For our bathroom I wanted "beach spa". I also suggest you look through the bathroom pictures on the bathroom forum. I found several inspirational rooms that worked with the tile and cabinets we had. I think one of the reasons you are struggling is that you are working with "what matches" instead of what look do I love. Love something, make it work in your room. Having said that, I think your tile would work well with blues, tans or many of the greiges. Whatever you decide, you are likely going to need an accent color since your bedding has wonderful texture, but only one color. Again, look at the bathroom forums pictures and here in gallary under "bathrooms". Which rooms catch your breadth or you say to yourself, "I want that feeling". Good luck!

My master bath has brown cabinets and the window and crown molding are done in brown wood...my master bedroom has brown crown molding and brown accents. There is a common thread so the two rooms flow. But they are not the same color, not a lighter tone of the other...nope, two different colors, different styles, definately different linens (I only believe in white for towels because I believe God invented bleach for a reason). My hardware in the master bath and master closet are in similar gold tones. And the lighting between the three rooms is all antique, most are exposed bulb fixtures from the early teens but in different colors. So there's another little carry through. I think my three rooms, which are all different colors with different linens flow because I've kept a few key features similar, though not exactly the same. In the bath, brown is the main color, in the bedroom it's an accent and in the closet it becomes the main again. The walls of the master suite are bronze (literally metalic bronze tone) but the master bath is done in a marble like finish of cream and tan. The closet is gold. All different textures, but they still flow well and give me flexibility to do different things in the master bedroom if I want to. I have SW Comfort Gray and SW Sea Salt as my master bedroom/bath paint combo. SS is one shade lighter than CG on the SW color strip. They are both gorgeous colors and work beautifully together. I get nothing but compliments and couldn’t be happier using them together.
