Going to lunch with a group of friends.....we have been friends for at least 40 years. We always have such a good time.
After lunch I have a doc's appointment.....my allergies are driving me nuts! My ear feels plugged so I can't hear very well and I get dizzy. We had had a lot of wind lately and I have been working a lot in the garden. Will probably do some more work tomorrow afternoon when I get home.

I don't have any plans yet except taking the dog for a walk. My friend has the day off so I am hoping she will call to go out for coffee or to the Mall.

I was going to get stuff ready for a yard sale on Saturday but it is supposed to rain so I am going to hold off now until the weather is nicer.

I work Fri, Sat and Mon at a large garden center so I'm more a TGIM (monday) person. I hope it's reasonably busy with customers, that always makes the day go faster.......and we don't have to dust shelves to stay busy!

Friend and I are hitting the garage sales early this morning and then this afternoon my DB and DSIL are coming up for an overnight visit (which NEVER happens!) She and I are doing sales tomorrow and DB and Twinkie are turkey hunting.

I'm going to my youngest GD's 2nd grade class to do my volunteer work. I'll be there all morning and will love being with 7-8 yr. old children. They are funny and sweet and give lots of hugs. Then I'm meeting a friend for lunch and will be getting a manicure late afternoon. DH and I have a date tonight and will probably be with another couple. Full day.

We might go to the Casino today to donate our $$$--LOL

Same old thing....I am planning to sit outside with the kids for a longer period of time though....they love it and they go down for naps much quicker when we come in. I am making snowcones for them also....it's been a "friday" thing for the last few weeks now that the weather is nice.

I have no plans for today. We had a beautiful, much needed rain last night. The sun is shinning and I will probably hang up the flowering baskets that I bought this week, refill the hummer's feeders and sit out on the porch swing to read and enjoy the beautiful day.

Well, it's the 2nd day of rain. Not heavy, but steady. The back yard looks like a swamp. So no yard work. Maybe Sunday. DGK's are coming tonight, so I'll have to get some supplies for spagetti or something. I hope to get some pictures of them.

Going to go buy a recliner so I am ready for my knee surgery. Then I am going grocery shopping so we don't have to eat Ramen for dinner LOL!
It's cold and windy, with a chance of snow later, so I'll probably read the rest of the afternoon.
My ortho said water exercise is the best, so it's in my future too! Kathy

Working at a Garden Center sounds like my ideal job. I wish I had something fun to do today or this weekend!

Supposed to get my parking lot swept today, but since it's snowing right now I might have to get the guy to plow it first...rofl.
Today I will finish up some touch ups in a suite I painted yesterday, clean the suite, get all my crap out and finish up the paperwork so new tenant can move in tomorrow. Oh I also have to fix his mailbox.
Then I will go to one of my other buildings to do a checkout and take pictures of the stuff the tenant left behind (I poked my head in there the other day and saw some furniture, a freezer, few other things.)
Then I will vacuum the building I live in, take out the garbages and the dreaded newspapers that pile up, clean all the doors and windows, clean the laundry room.
If I still have any oomph after that's done I will work in another suite that needs my attention.
Just another day in paradise here...

I have no plans for today. But, I'm itching to do something. Tomorrow I'm suppose to go to my Great Nephews 1 year Birthday Party in Houston. (But, I don't want to) My bad!

I just finished cleaning up the laundry since I finished painting it yesterday morning. I put the switch covers back on and cleaned and mopped the floor.

It's supposed to rain quite a bit today so I planned to just work around the house until I read Yaya's post about going to garage sales. That reminded me that I saw a sign for an estate sale not far from here. I think I'll get dressed and go there as soon as I get caught up reading here.

If you're having Knee replacement surgery,you might want to check with your DR before buying that chair.I'm having my knee surgery on the 15th of May,and the recliner already bothers my knees/legs.My PMC dr already told me they are the worse things for people with bad knees.Then since i found out when my surgery is i checked out a few things at (i think) web md) and it recommended you not use a recliner after knee replacement surgery(if that's what you are having).

I'm going to ask my surgeon when i go for a pre surgical appt on the 5th,and see what he says.I already have one,but stay out of it for the most part,and if i do get in it,it's not comfy and i have a hard time getting out.
Just thought i'd share that bit of info with you,for what it's worth.

Friend has had two knee replacments!
She does just fine! With water aerobics!
She's had problems lately and NOW rides the noodle for less impact. Works for her!
