No worries, simplest thing in the world: 8 scotch bonnets( deseed and deplacenta unless u like it HOT 2 cups cane vinegar(rice if u don't have access to cane) 1 medium onion (rough chopped) 1 medium carrot (rough chopped) 6 cloves garlic 1/8 tsp cumin 1/8 tsp corriander 2 tblsp olive oil salt to taste pinch of xantham gum(optional) preheat oven to 400. place peppers(whole w/o calyx, or deseeded and deplacentaed) garlic, onion and carrot on cookis sheet and drizzle the olive oil over them, roast until, garlic softens and onions are translucent( about 8-10 mins roughly) add all ingredients to blender or food processor, and mix thouroughly, til u have a smooth texture. strain and enjoy.good luck! This is one of the simplest hot sauces I make, other than the pepper mash of course: roast garlic and chiles puree in vinegar til desired consistency and add salt, I use thai chile mash on all kinds of stuff and, smoked habaneros make a wicked good pepper mash too( not to mention one hell of a bbq sauce!

Wow, wow and wow!!! Thank you soooo much Kathryn, the box was packed full of wonderful things. Okay, the list ; ) She sent a wonderful pink glass windchime, 2 packages of lily bulbs, wonderful cuticle cream that will definitely come in handy come digging time, a magnet clip, a cute bunny pen, junior mints and york peppermint patties (my favorite), a cute easter bucket, floral incense sticks, a crystal dragonfly pot sitter, a package of peat pots and the best thing of all......heirloom veggie seeds!!! And what a selection she sent, from my favorite heirloom seed supply house. There were 11 packets of seeds including several squashs, lettuce, peas, soybeans, pole beans, eggplant, and some flowers called "kiss me over the garden gate". Thank you sooooo much!! I just loved everything.

A big favorite at my house is carmelized shallots over sliced Brussel sprouts (the recipe is on epicurious Brussel Sprout Hash w/carmelized shallots.) I will, in fact, be making it on Thanksgiving. As for chocolate, I gave it up 17 years ago during a period of intense migraine problems because it seemed to be a trigger. I also gave up nuts and coffee at that same time (all suspected triggers). The only thing I missed enough to gamble & reintroduce to my diet were nuts. I decided I didn't need the extra calories of chocolate so I've just never gone back to eating it.

LOL! I had a friend who's tiny tot went to see Santa Claus. Do you know what she asked for for Christmas? You got it, a chocolate Easter bunny! This was before the internet. My friend's mom was hunting all over to try and find one! I think a friend of a friend had one tucked in their freezer from Easter. Santa Claus came through with the chocolate Easter bunny.
