Comments (24)LindaC, that may be, and we'll never actually know. She said she was lying on a towel on the cement pool deck and got really hot, and started feeling sick to her stomach so she jumped into the pool to cool off. That's all she remembers. However, Amanda has grand mal seizures, the kind with a lot of involuntary muscular movements. Ashley has been present since that time when Amanda has had a seizure and says that she didn't have a seizure in the pool, she just jumped in and suddenly sank to the bottom with no thrashing or flailing. Amanda had never had a seizure before that incident. Since Ashley was there and described it to the neurologist, and it didn't appear that she had a seizure in the pool because the type of seizures she now experiences is very noticeable, the doctors all agree that they think she had some type of physical reaction going from so hot to so cool so quickly and passed out. I guess, at this point, the cause doesn't matter, only the effect. I do know that I'm darned lucky to still have her and equally lucky that her seizures are very well controlled with medication. She has had four that we know of in her lifetime, and none in the last five years, but she tried to go off her medication when she was 24 and that's when she had the last one. Comments (34)Update: Holes in the spa are looking much better. Service guy came out today and worked on them again. I think the end result when finished will be great. My concern would be will the fix chip off later since it is not the original finish. Steps are so much better. First, because I started buffing them MYSELF today with the buffing pad they left my husband the first day my pool was supposed to be "buffed" as advertised. Anyway, the installer came out today and started "buffing" them more...they needed it. There is a huge difference between a buffed area and a non-buffed area in your pool even if the installer of PT tries to tell you it is smooth enough. The steps are a slightly different color because they were redone. The only thing that I am not sure how to fix is the deep end....the finish there looked amazing the first time. After they drained the pool to redo the steps, and the pool is now filled up and balanced, the deep end looks splotchy. I repeatedly raised concerns about them leaving crappy, non-chemically balanced, stagnant water sitting in the deep end and in the spa in the hot sun for 2 days while they worked to correct the steps. I was told not to worry...well now I am very worried. We were told today to let the pool cure....I don't buy that BS....the deep end looked perfect after the initial fill and through 3 days of meticulously brushing and keeping the chems balanced. They let the spa sit stagnant and partially drained my pool. All kinds of crap was sitting in that nasty water....See MorePebble sheen today...need help posting photos here...
Comments (2)It's simple. Upload your photos on a free Photobucket account, and then post the HTML code here. With Photobucket, all you have to do is click on the HTML code, and it copies it for you. Then just hit "ctrl v" on your computer and it should paste it into the post. (FYI - most websites call for using the IMG code, so you might find that if you repost them somewhere else, HTML is not needed)...See MoreNewbie, Would LOVE some help with Pebble Sheen Colors
