Do our voices 'age' as we age?

I dont find it so noticeable in people I talk to frequently or even occasionally on the telephone, but recently I tracked down & talked to a female roommate who I hadn't talked to in over 40 years. She actually sounded exactly the same as I remember; however, her sister, who is five years younger, sounded really old---she would have been 65 vs. my former roommate's 70.

Can you guess a person's age range in a telephone conversation? Or not?
