One tamale and one soft beef taco

Played bridge today. More fun than cleaning the garage! I defrosted some Mulligatawny soup before I left so that's for dinner on this cold night.

I wouldn't have wanted to clean a garage, but don't consider going to the dentist actually 'fun' either.

I had a fish sandwich and homemade vegetable soup for my evening meal.

Hooray, we got zilch of the predicted snow today. I feel badly for those east of Ohio that were hit with it.

Hmm We had barbequed chicken that we had to finish in the oven. Tom stood in the snow on the deck cooking on the grill when he ran out of gas!Patty, you should have gone out to eat after your day in the garage. I love when Tom does a dump run. We are both quite good good at tossing stuff.

Just Cherrios and a banana for my supper. Had lunch at Amber's, rib eye, mac and cheese, baked beans, potato salad and apple pie. Cheryl fixed it and picked me up and we had fun playing with Alyssa after we ate. Very windy all day and cool but sunny.

Brrrrr, it's so chilly here today. Mowed yard early while the sun was shining and because I had to take my aunt to the doctor's by 1pm. Even tho I wore my winter coat with a hat and the hood of the coat up while mowing, I think that cold wind gave me a chill that just won't go away. Nothing sounds good for supper as I've been snacking all afternoon. Haven't even done my walking exercises yet tonight.

Hot tamales with chili and I have a cauliflower that needs to be cooked so I will steam that to go with it, strange combo but we love each of them individually who knows we might create a new favorite.

I have an impaired finger, I was out side dead heading and a dog barked and a horn blew right as I was clipping and I missed and clipped the very tip of my finger , I thought I was going to bleed to death before I could get in and clean it up, some cuts can sure bleed a lot. The tip of the index finger is used a lot in typing too I might add LOL. Thank goodness I was using my dull scissors and not my pruning shears!

I cleaned the fridge today not a task I like either but it had to be done I could not fit anything more in there! the cats out back will love the buffet they get!

Raven, you have my sympathy! The tip of my index finger still acts up at times.

I felt a need to eat a more civilized meal tonight, so I made Chicken Marsala with mushrooms and angel hair pasta, and roasted some beets. I'm not sure most people would think the two go together, but the beets were in my fridge. :-)

I'm also trying a recipe I just found for raw beet and apple salad, but that's for tomorrow.

No I sure wish I was gifted with the ability to make tamales but unfortunately not, luckily here we can get good ones

Oh, Alisande, I've had chicken Marsala on my list for about two weeks now. One of these days I'll get around to making it.

We had tostados, made with refried beans, cheese, red enchilada sauce topped with lettuce/tomato/avacado/sour cream. YUM! Then left over peach cobbler with whipped cream on top!
