New turkey fryer but I think I need a new hose
Comments (0)I bought an outdoor turkey fryer yesterday. However, the regulator/hose assembly is attached to a timer/safety device that makes running it next to impossible. It won't stay lit and once you think it will, it goes out. I have seen many burner assemblies similar to this one where the regulator/hose assembly attaches directly to the burner. That's what i would like. However, the end of the hose that goes into the timer/safety device is just a little too small to screw directly into the burner. Is there a fitting that I can buy to get them to work together? Or, will I need a new hose? It looks like the longer portion of the hose can be disconnected from the regulator and likely replaced with a hose that has the correct size male fitting on it. Is this right? Obviously I'm looking for the most reasonable but safe fix. Thanks, Greg...See MoreAck! I got a Coach purse and wallet as a gift
Comments (31)I just bought one. I have never spent that much money on a purse but it is so cute. I saw someone with it at Kohl's and fell in love with it and went home and found it online and bought it. I love it. Use it Nicole and enjoy it. My mom jokes with me that if someone steals it, they can keep my wallet, just give me my Coach purse back lol....See MoreI want a Walker Zanger look that doesn't destroy my wallet
Comments (11)I love those and am looking for something with a similar feel. I had a chat with a salesperson I like at my local tile store who carried something very similar and she said the sheer fact of the matter is that because it's stone and it's very small pieces, it's always going to be expensive. Labor and materials add up. I'm not saying you can't get cheaper than the WZ, but I agree that you can't count on finding a stone mosaic like that for $1K. Her suggestion for a similar feel was ceramic or porcelain, with a design on it that gave the same complex, interlocked, geometric feel (which is what I love, I'm not so hooked on needing several colors) and maybe you could find something like that you like with a matte glaze. Alternatively, I see that you said you can't do a focal point/statement wall, but could you find a compatible and much more reasonably priced field tile and use it as a border?...See MoreNeed a new wallet- why cant I pick one out
Comments (31)Sheila, I have a Fossil watch that has 18 slots. I just tried to find my wallet on their website but it's not there, which is odd since I just bought it this past spring. I even looked on other websites to see if maybe it was an old style, but I still couldn't find it. Mine has two sections, one is a zippered section that has 6 slots, a zippered section in the middle for coins, and two spaces for dollar bills. then there is a portion that closes with a flap tab. When you open that, there are two sides with six slots each, as well as a long open section behind each that could hold either dollar bills, receipts or whatever. While I don't "need" all the things I keep in this slots, I do prefer to have everything in one wallet. I am out and about all time time, and will often make impromptu, unplanned stops, so having all my gift cards, library cards, credit/debit cards in one spot works best for me. If I'm going somewhere that I really don't want to carry all of that, say to dinner out with dh or if I'm traveling, I have a small change purse that I put in a small purse (if necessary) and just bring my license, a debit/card card and money. It could also hold my cell phone but I have a bulky, sturdy case on my phone so with that on, I can't put it in the wallet. It does fit though if I take the case off. I also bought a separate strap so that I can hold it by the strap (like a wristlet sort of) if I need use of my hands. Ms. Rose, my wallet was about $65. My last Fossil wallet which I absolutely loved but is discontinued, I found at TJ Maxx for $25. I've had cheaper wallets and they were fine, but I have to say that the Fossil is much better quality than the cheaper ones I had. I'm not a purse-aholic, and don't buy new purses often, so don't mind spending for a good quality leather wallet since I use it every day....See More- last monthlast modified: last month
