Had leftover scalloped potatoes (love them the second day too!), some hamburger/pork patties, sauteed corn. Put my homemade barbecue sauce on the patties. Delicious.

Hubby is playing tonite and tomorrow, so we ate a little early.

BBQ country style ribs cooked in the oven and some oven roasted baby red potatoes.

Once again I was not home and had a late lunch so not eating this evening. Lunch was Cracker Barrel. I had beef stew, fried okra, fried apples, biscuits with butter and apple butter plus unsweetened iced tea. Another great meal.

Since we're in the middle of Dogwood Winter and it's unseasonably cool, I've made a crockpot of homemade chili with iced tea to drink....some will have crackers with all the toppings...I prefer totilla chips with sour cream cheese and onion! it was awesome!

I had the clam stuffed mushrooms again....love those things.

WE then decided since it was a lovely day, that we drive in our cars and meet eachother at the nice park nearby and people watch and "get to know eachother".

Felt like I was on cloud nine and giddy as a teenager on a first date.

And to top it all off, he stopped to buy me a beautiful bouquet of flowers and presented to me at the park.

Such a lovely way to spent April Fool's Day :o)
