Cleaning and more cleaning, resting right now about to start steam cleaning the living room carpet, Husband is vacuuming it prior to the steam cleaning. Doing the deep Spring Cleanings.

Not too much for most of the day, I was really tired (slept 12 hours last night). A little while ago I made icing and then icing roses for cupcakes my daughter wants to take somewhere tomorrow night. Oh, and I took the dogs for a short walk.

Saturdays I do laundry and clean a little.

I have been playing with the computer for the last few days learning new things from tutorials at the Win 7 Forums.

I reformatted a couple of day ago, had it back and set up in a few hours. I have been trying to find a way to turn off the log in screen that keeps coming on. To make a long story short I had to put on a screensaver to do it and I left the screen saver on. When I came back into the office, the picture below is what I saw only the bubbles were moving. If you have Win 7 you need to turn it on and see it in action.

I don't have Windows 7 but I have moving bubbles when mine is not active for a little while on both of my computers.

I really need to clean our family room rug too. I have put it off for too long. But I am trying to finish knitting a tiny elephant for our 1 year old grandson. Hope to finish it today. I knit it using very thin fingering yarn with a pattern that calls for worsted, so I have been fiddling with it as I go along.

Mostly I'm just on the web today. I've been staring at the eagle nest for a couple of hours!

Did some laundry. I'm waiting for my old cat to get up from his nap and go outside so I can vacuum (he's afraid of the vacuum and I don't want to give him a heart attack by turning it on while he's in the house.)

Then I'll vacuum and dust while keeping an eye on the eagle nest.

Tomorrow, it's back to work.

Cleaned the pollen off of ALL outdoor furniture and fixtures, 5 loads of laundry, cleaned out fridge while DH replaced another part.

I'm pooped right now and happy to be crusing the web. Took a 60 mile round trip to get some flooring for the bathroom this morning. About noon took dd out to ground work with her horse. She's been working him in the small pen and doing well. TODAY THO, he seemed to be doing well again, so we put on the saddle, lunged him in a few circles. DH said he would ride him first. OMG, the horse jumped up and down, all four feet off the ground about ten different times, his back curled up like a 'C'. Thank goodness dh isn't afraid(LIKE I WAS WHILE WATCHING)and had the horse walking around shortly after. I've been in extreme adrenaline mode ever since. Worked very well while I cleaned the entire garden/horse shed. Cleaned some of the house and did some laundry, including the big stuff from the labradors big bed. Youngest dd helped me a good deal today, I'm thankful. While the oldest called and said she ran the mile at her track meet in 6 mins and 35 seconds. Thats super good for her, she's more of a cross country runner at heart. Waiting now for her to come home and finish her homework so she can go to an "Amazing Race" meet at our local college Sunday.
I wish it wasn't so windy, Dh cleaned the grill, put on a new propane tank. Steaks sound good. (That horse better watch out from now on....hehehhe) Time to take a shower, I think I have sand all over my head from when the horse was bucking, tossing sand every where.

I straightened up the living room today, put a double batch of porcupine balls in the oven. I'll freeze 1/2 of them for another day. Made some sloppy joe mix for lunches this week. I think I'm going to curl on the couch and read a book now.

I promised my son I would finish the paper back he loaned me before I read another book on my Kindle.

Went for breakfast, then hit a local department store that had a sale going on....got 3 Izod sweaters, 2 long sleeved tops, a t-shirt and 4 pairs of socks for $33! Then we hit the book store, Harbor Freight, the grocery store and home. We packed up 6 cartons of books and took them to the Arts Center for their used book sale, stopped at a local store that had cauliflower for $.99 a head and pears for $.69 a pound, grabbed hot dogs for supper and then came home again!

I have to print maps, assemble a few reports and get them ready to fed ex out of here on Monday morning, but right now I'm watching 4 deer at the feeding station in back yard.

Went to GD birthday dinner (supper) came home early as something I ate a day or so did not set good, and now waiting for anther storm to hit with about 4 inches of snow.

It is really windy here today! I baked while I waited for the computer repairman (brownies, plain yellow cake to eat with fresh strawberries, and some peanut butter cookies, which I shared with the 91 year old widower across the street and the bachelor next door.) Watched a bit of the basketball game, then went outside and planted cucumbers. Had planned to plant yellow squash and peppers, also, but the wind started whipping everything around and I came inside. My computer is now working!!! Will try to catch up on e-mails, etc. before dinnertime.

Let's see....
woke up at 7:30 and had breakfast
8:00-9:00 mountain of ironing
9:00-12:00 rolled smokes
12:15 - 4:45 napped
after that I made dinner, showered and came online.

Woke up early for roofers. We had a new roof put on the house, and so a good part of the day was spent listening to men walking and hammering above me.

After they left, went out to a Chinese buffet at the mall for an early dinner. Took DH's DD and GD with us....walked around the mall and GD got a ride on the indoor Carousel.

Got up to feed dogs and give one dog his insulin shot. Couldn't get back to sleep. Checked in on the 'puter. Showered. Lunch with a friend. Stopped at Target for paper goods and Pepsi. Paid a bill. Ordered t-shirt transfer off eBay. Put Easter treats together for Red Hat group.

Went to a bridal shower for my granddaughter today. Had a great time, plenty of laughs, plenty of good food and Granddaughter got beautiful gifts. Their wedding is 2 weeks from today. I am sure that time is going to fly by.

I got dressed and went over to the beach for a few minutes. Found parking, put on my sneakers, walked over to the water and took them off.

It was cloudy, a bit cold and windy. There were lots of sailboats out, but few people on shore. Waves. Gulls. Fresh air.

Came back home feeling cleansed and energized.
