I agre with the above posters that, whatever you choose, it will look stunning. I don't know where you're located, but you'll find that most of the stores will have a WA catalog, but no "real" finish samples. We went through the same thing when we were picking a WA bed, and we wanted it to look good next to our nightstands which have a bronze-ish finish along the edges. I think the finish we chose was the aged bronze and we are very happy with it. I like that it has a textured finish, and touches of gold showing through. There are also areas that are darker and some few areas that are greenish. I like the contrast against our tan walls, and how it looks with our upholstered headboard, and the finish isn't so dark that you lose the details. Sorry I don't have photos with the nightstands or with the bed made up. That being said, if you're a matchy-matchy person, like I am, finding the right lamps for the nightstands might become a major project. I finally found lamps with the right look, but they didn't provide the right light. Now I have new lamps that provide good lighting, but they're not the perfect finish. So I'll either leave it alone or try to change it myself--but I have way too much to do to change it now. Good luck!

Great idea. I've heard places like Home Depot can match just about anything you haul in there. SW Pavestone is actually a pretty decent match to the gray'ish section of the bigger six sided patchwork pillow. I think the gray stripe in the round pillow is going to be lighter, maybe like SW Requisite Gray or BM Revere Pewter.

Here are some ideas for bedding, lamps, sconces, artwork, night stands, rugs, pillows, and more. We agree that blue and orange would work really well with the charcoal bed.

Based on the picture of the drapes I would say blue bedding and a gray rug. If it weren't for the kids and dog I would say white bedding. The rug should be either darker or lighter than the wall color. If they're the same it will make the room look monotone - unless that's what you want, but based on the drapes you chose, I doubt it. :-)
