Great furniture! I like the blue bedding - easier to keep looking clean than white.

I also like the blue upper wall with white below.

I agree with chicagoans - love the pale blue wall with the white below. I think it contrasts more with the deep crib color. I also think the blue bedding will be easier to keep clean. Congratulations!

I like the blue bedding - the white would be hard to keep clean. I think DwellStudio has some cute airplane/train bedding that I've seen. Not sure if you've seen it already.

Have you looked on Project Nursery? There are a ton of great boy rooms on there to get inspiration, paint color suggestions, etc.

Look around at your other stores for accessories that maybe aren't just "airplaney" Bringing a "pig" piggy bank in with mostly the same colors but maybe one "new" color will all some eclectic look.
Check etsy to some wall decals that may give you an idea of what to put on the wall or other things that you may want to incorporate. You can order those or paint something like them...My mother suggested we paint a tree on an empty wall in my baby girls room, so I went on Etsy, and have a tree, some birds, squirrels, nuts, etc. that my parents painted based off the decal.

For something else on the walls, I would love to see some basic frames with shapes or letters in a boyish colored plaid inside them. Or maybe check Target for some wall decor "words" in boyish prints/plaids...above my babies crib is "Dream, Dance, LAugh" in girl prints. I put one in the middle on the top row and the other 2 on the bottom row. I thought it would be a lot of words, but love it.

I also got one of those book shelves that hang on the wall from Target, but have seen them at PB or landofnod. Pick some books to display in their that coordinate with your colors but don't have airplanes...this will give you a picture that isn't out of place but helps with the overly matchy.
A basket of baby blankets or burp blankets will add more pattern and texture to the room.

Thanks all for your input! My husband and I are in love with the blue and white wall as well-its such a clean look! Now since the bedding is a light blue should I do a deeper blue paint or could i still stick with the light blue cloud color paint? Also, I do plan on doing cute wall letters spelling his name and wall shelves since my crib furnitue is espresso should I get the walls helves in that color too even though the bottom wall is white? Thanks

Congratulations! I am decorating a nursery for a boy too right now. :)

I actually prefer the last bedding, the white with blue trim. I think with your dark crib, it will lighten it up, give it more of an airy feel, and show better. If you're worried about things getting dirty, you can always use a crib sheet protector over the sheet (easier to change out than changing/untucking sheets anyway).

Love the airplane theme!

I like the blue and brown bedding better than the white, especially when dealing with baby spit up and other things.

I don't know if you have looked at JC Penney's website, but they have a nice selection of blue bedding that could work for you.

Whatever you do, be sure and paint the ceiling a light blue, too!

Lots of "airplane" decorations would be too much. I would check out some Etsy shops to get personalized pieces like your baby's name and mix things up a bit to give the space an eclectic look so that it's not too "theme-y".
