We're going to have sausage and Mac N Cheese...mixed together.Mac N Cheese from a box and Jimmy Dean sausage...Easy Peasy meal today.I'm working on my plants! LOL! And doing laundry,I have 3 shirts to IRON! Told Larry not to wear those shirts often and NEVER buy them again! I DON'T do ironing!

We had roasst beef the other day so today it will be roast beef hash and a salad.

Not sure yet, but will probably put to use the 2 burgers cooked with mushrooms and the roasted cauliflower with garlic and asiago cheese leftover from last night. We don't have buns with the burgers, so I don't know what the carb will be.

I made scones this morning and just cut up a fresh pineapple, so I am sure we won't starve to death.

I wonder what a backbone is, too??? We're having poached salmon, creamed spinach (your recipe) and a salad with Romaine, roasted walnuts, kiwi, avocado, strawberries and a raspberry dressing (recipe in Southern Living 1994) that has raspberry preserves in it.

I think I feel like Chinese buffet, so that means I'll have a little something of everything.
Can't wait for the salmon, and crab legs, and their crab legs salad.

Stay in, do some gardening, DH is making the homemade pizza he promised me LAST week. It better be good!

My friend and her husband just stopped by and brought me a farm fresh chicken which I am going to put in the oven in a few minutes. I am going to make some orange glazed carrots, lemon rice and some cranberry sauce to go with it.

I also going to bake a loaf of bread in the bread machine tonight for chicken sandwiches the next couple of days.

Who knows?? I have ZERO motivation or energy to think of anything! DH is off playing softballs games most of the day and DD is cranky with a cold!

I've got a beef roast in the oven with potatoes, onions, onion soup mix and beef bouillon cubes.
Along with that we will have corn on the cob and stewed tomatoes. Yum!!

My 85 year old Uncle came to visit my Mom at the NH today. We sat out on the Patio in the sunshine and had a very nice visit.

Main Man is on his way into town to pick up a Rotisserie Chicken. I'm hungry for Scallop Potatoes, I haven't had potatoes in 2 weeks. (new diet) Probably some steamed Broccoli to go with it. (Sniff, no sauce).

Chicken Kiev, fresh cauliflower and I'm not sure about the potatoe...Hot Apple dumplings with ice cream for desert....I guess that diet can hold off another day!

All the talk about potato salad the other day made me hungry for it, so I am getting ready to make potato salad, and will probably have a steak with it. My husband is in Alabama taking a class at Sea School and won't be home for another week, so just eating whatever I am hungry for.

We'll probably do the same as Bestlawn,chinese buffet.DH would do that every week,but i refuse,once a month is enough for me.

LOL I had good intentions of putting my chicken in the oven a few hours ago to roast but my friend called just after I posted and we went for an 1 1/2 walk - beautiful day. I just put the chicken in now so I won't be eating for a while.

Munching on a few jelly beans right now while the chicken roasts.

I took some frozen dough out of the freezer so am going to make a lemon meringue pie and I'm not going to share it with anyone. LOL

I baked chicken breasts on rice but......didn't have any aluminum foil to cover the pan with......however; I just took it out of the oven and it looks and smells delicious...so.....hopefully it will be good!! I've always patted "me" on the back for "being a good cook" and I even collect cookbooks and been married for over 46 years so hopefully I won't "flub" today!! LOL

Just came back from Dd's,where oldest GS made a delecious fettucini dish with chicken and fresh asparagus.He's an aspiring chef and made his own pasta from scratch.also had a orange,avacado salad and apple crisp and vanilla ice cream.
Needless to say I'm stuffed!

Had to work today, didn't bring my lunch like I normally do so I went the cafeteria in neighboring hospital to get a big salad: spring mix of greens, brocali, carrots, cherry tomatoes, cottage cheese, cantaloupe and grapes. I usually put sunflower seeds on it too but they were out today.

Tonight I stopped by Dairy Queen and picked me up some quasadillas and onion rings. Alex got chicken strips, and Lauren had already eaten at her father's.

I am having sweet and sour pork over rice and some green beans.

Grilled steaks, mashed potatoes and sugar snap peas.
