Yup.....another CRS'er here too. I went to renew my license today and when it came time to take my picture, I stood with my back to the desk and faced a big blue wall. The lady said, unless I wanted the picture of the back of my head on my licence, i should turn around and stand with my BACK to the blue wall and FACE the camera. OOPS! Dottie

Possibly Baby Moon? or maybe Hawera? Those are 2 of the more common ones matching your description. Oh...might it be Tete-a-Tete? It is a very early and very prolific daffodil, and the first 2 are quite late ones. Does yours bloom early, sort of mid season, or late? Sue

I'm worse--I laid my pruning saw on the compost pile--noticed it fell off, but hey--I'll get it later. Fast forward, I started mowing, first swath threw to the inside--reversed pattern--you guessed it--the first grass covered the saw--the next swath ground it up!! The pruning shears were under it-didnt touch them. Definetly senior moments!

Well the rose gods of the world intervened, I was right on only one clue - once bloomer. The rose is White Provence (apparently recognized in the 18th century). Registration name Unique Blanche also known as R. Centifolia Alba and I planted it last year and it was a European import from Petrovic Roses of Serbia. Check my import list and sure enough there it was from 2007 delivered - thank crikey I was able to recover my hard drive data from last week's crash - one less unknown rose in my garden.

You could get some 14-16 gauge wire and eye screws. Spools of wire and little boxes of the eye screws are available at the big box stores. Run the wire through the screws. I'd drill small holes first so the wood doesn't split.

Last week I had dinners to attend on Wed. and Thur. nights. One Tuesday I knew which was which but by Wednesday I showed up for a 5 p.m. dinner at a venue and no one was there. I then remembered I needed to be at another venue at 5:30 and made it there almost on time. At least on Thursday night I knew just where that new venue was. I have CRS so bad.

CRS? I can't even remember what that is.

I have been waiting for 2-3 weeks for an order to arrive from Starcrest.
    Waiting, waiting.

Yesterday I checked the site. There sat my order in my shopping cart.

this is why I LOVE THE KT...I am not alone and instead of getting ridiculed because I just came to the basement from two flights up...i know there is something I need down here so if I just sit here for a minute...I'll remember what it was...I've tried retracing my steps in my mind...but it looks like I'm gonna have to go back upstairs into the bedroom I was cleaning and try and remember why I came to the basement in the first place...

My husband has senior moments all of the time (he is almost 62). I am almost 60 and have yet to have one. That is good news and bad news - because it is very frustrating to know that I am right. And I make no effort to remember. In my family those of us with large heads - and I have one - have minds like steel traps. My husband's 93 year old aunt has to answer questions for her children all of the time. I am getting selective though when people ask me about things - can't tell me how annoying I am re my memory one week and then ask me for help the next. I am getting cranky in my declining years.

Sue_va... I laughed at your message so hard!!! I had to go to the corner store, just a 3 minute drive. Pulled into the parking lot and sat there trying to remember why I was there and what I needed. Had to call hubby to ask him. Ran into a long time friend at the post office whom I've known for a good 15 years, and hadn't seen her in maybe 6-8 months. We were catching up about our kids and etc., the whole time I couldn't remember her name or her daughters name. I had to come home and ask hubby what my friends name is that lives 2 streets over, etc. I think I'm worrying him a little...

Dottie...maybe we need to start a new trend and just put a mask on the back of our heads...I remembered my license was due for renewal at 4:15 on my birthday 5 years ago...I was in the middle of a move and barely had gotten a shower that morning...forget makeup...I rushed over there...got in line and because they made me wait over 30 minutes got a FREE 10 year license...I begged them to let me pay for the 5 so I could get a new picture...nope...not having it...I look absolutely awful and people do a double take when they see my license..(which thank god isn't very often)...so I'm all for turning around the wrong way!

I've probably got ya all beat, not only do i have CRS,add to that Chemo brain, and sometimes i don't remember who i am!! I kid you not,i think of something i need to do,and before i can move to do it,i forget what it was.

I've gotten very good at writing in the dark, for those nights when i can't sleep, which lately seems like most of them, anyway when something crosses my mind i just grab the pad and pencil and write it down.Fortunately in the morning i can read my notes.

I think my husband is a good standing member of the CRS club. Some weeks back he went to work and I called and asked why he didn't stay home to watch the dogs. He had forgotten it was Sunday. He argued with me that it was not Sunday. Many times he forgets I have his supper in the microwave waiting on him. I find it the next day still in there or it can even be on the kitchen table and he doesn't even see it. I can call and tell him before he comes home that I have fixed him something and guess what he does? He stops by McDonald's on his way home and gets something and eats it as he drives.

The worst is when I'm not sure if I took a bath or brushed my teeth. I always stand in a room and have no idea why I am there. I usually just wait it out until it comes to me. I constantly see people who start talking to me and I don't know who they are.

Thanks, kiddos for laughing with me about my drivers license picture oops. There was a older gentleman in the place and when the lady told me to turn around, he made the remark as he was going out the door, bot sides are good lookin. Made me feel good even though I figured HE wouldn't pass the eye test. LOL The other stories from my fellow CRS members made feel that I'm not a Lone Ranger. Dottie

Well, yesterday I was cleaning under the sink, pulling out all those cleaning supplies that are just like new (!). I was waiting for the floor under there to dry before I pust stuff back, so had to check something on line, then decided I needed a little nap. An hour, or more, later I walked into the kitchen, and was surprised to see it just as I had left it.....and forgotten about.

Sue_va, did you finally finish the order online, still laughing about that. Years ago there was a poem floating around the internet via email about a woman who gets started on a chore, but before she does that chore there was another one she had to do first, and then that one didn't get done because of something else that came up... It's very funny but TRUE! It ends by her husband asking her what she did all day because she looks exhausted. I wish I could find it again. Does this poem ring any bells with anyone?

    AAADD
    KNOW THE SYMPTOMS.
    PLEASE READ!
Thank goodness there's a name for this disorder.
Somehow I feel better even though I have it!!

    Recently, I was diagnosed with A.A.A.D.D. -
    Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder.

    This is how it manifests:

I decide to water my garden.
As I turn on the hose in the driveway,
I look over at my car and decide it needs washing.

As I start toward the garage,
I notice mail on the porch table that
I brought up from the mail box earlier.

I decide to go through the mail before I wash the car.

I lay my car keys on the table,
put the junk mail in the garbage can under the table,
and notice that the can is full.

So, I decide to put the bills
back on the table and take out the garbage first.

    But then I think,
since I'm going to be near the mailbox
when I take out the garbage anyway,
I may as well pay the bills first.

I take my check book off the table,
and see that there is only one check left.
My extra checks are in my desk in the study,
so I go inside the house to my desk where
I find the can of Pepsi I'd been drinking.

I'm going to look for my checks,
but first I need to push the Pepsi aside
so that I don't accidentally knock it over.

    The Pepsi is getting warm,
and I decide to put it in the refrigerator to keep it cold.

As I head toward the kitchen with the Pepsi,
a vase of flowers on the counter
catches my eye -- they need water.

I put the Pepsi on the counter and
    discover my reading glasses that
I've been searching for all morning.
I decide I better put them back on my desk,
but first I'm going to water the flowers.

I set the glasses back down on the counter,
fill a container with water and suddenly spot the TV remote.
Someone left it on the kitchen table.

I realize that tonight when we go to watch TV,
I'll be looking for the remote,
but I won't remember that it's on the kitchen table,
so I decide to put it back in the den where it belongs,
but first I'll water the flowers.

I pour some water in the flowers,
but quite a bit of it spills on the floor.

So, I set the remote back on the table,
get some towels and wipe up the spill.

Then, I head down the hall trying to
remember what I was planning to do.

At the end of the day:
    the car isn't washed
    the bills aren't paid
there is a warm can of
    Pepsi sitting on the counter
the flowers don't have enough water,
there is still only 1 check in my check book,
    I can't find the remote,
    I can't find my glasses,
and I don't remember what I did with the car keys.
Then, when I try to figure out why nothing got done today,
I'm really baffled because I know I was busy all day,
    and I'm really tired.

I realize this is a serious problem,
and I'll try to get some help for it,
but first I'll check my e-mail....

    Do me a favor.
Forward this message to everyone you know,
because I don't remember who the heck I've sent it to.

Don't laugh -- if this isn't you yet, your day is coming!!
