a lawyer? you'd pay more for an hour of their time than you could just buy a brand new one. If they refuse to provide you a warranty replacement, have you thought about cutting your losses and going to a differnt brand, like the Pentair intellichlor which has a history of reliability? Maybe some of the pool guys can attest to the Resilience brand, but I'd be running from a company that wanted me to pay extra for a part replacement that is under warranty!.!.

All right guys, the warranty on the cell is basically 3 years. After reading and asking for explanation. The warranty is worded so it wasn't clear to me. Maybe it is my not so perfect english. So the 7 years cover who knows-parts that won't need replacing ,perhaps.
The cell I need would cost over 5oo bucks w/sh+tax -which is 60% of what it would cost me if I wasn't under the 7 year coverage. I decided I will not spend the money, I will go back to chlorine tablets. For now I will deal w/the build up as I did for 4 years and when the cell wears out I just shut the system off. Hell no I'm spending money on something that will last only 4 years. I will use the money to put it towards whole house softening system to prevent build up in my tankless and protect my appliances. I still buy the chemical to soften the hard water in the pool but I am done w/ gadgets attached to the pool.
IMO, spending 1200 bucks four years ago for the SWG wasn't worth it. I am not rich enough to buy new cell every 4 years, I think it's crazy. Maybe there are different systems but for now I can't afford it.The end off my problem.

The problem may not be the cell at all.

The problem could be that the mechanism that the control board uses to reverse polarity is not functioning properly. This can be measured with a multi meter, and if the system has a force reverse even better.

Measure the DC voltage noting polarity. Force a reverse on the cell and see if the polarity reverses.

Calcium hardness will increase the amount of calcium that build up on the cell. Doesn't it seem logical that if the water is more calcium rich that it would leave more calcium behind when is precipitates onto the cells?

I understand about the more calcium more buildup. I see if I can get someone to look at this. I have no tools for it. I tried to get more info from the company but they seem to answer very shortly, don't give me much explanation,trying to sell me new unit or new cell. Which should be cheaper bc I am under the 7 year warranty but I found someone else who sells the cell for only 10 dollars more -anytime. This company would not tell me how much the cell cost normally, supposedly I'm locked in the "special" price.Well I think they are bunch of a...ss and want to make money. Besides, the new cell gets only one year warranty.So I paid 1200bucks w/cell warranty 3 years, now almost 500 for one year, I don't think so. If I have problem w/ builup now, morelikely I will have the same problem. I'll be better of w/ chlorine tablets. Had them before for 10 years.

First: In high calcium areas(well water) only self cleaning
(polarity reversing)units will work. I had a non-reversing
one in a pool and had to clean it every other day. Fortunately
it came with a money back guaranty when I had it removed.

The self-cleaning(reversing) ones work a lot better in high
calcium areas but do require occasional cleaning.

The problem is the calcium in the water and not the unit.
Its makes no difference which brand you use the cells will
still clog after a while. Keeping the pH low will help some
on the calcium but not cure it.

If you don't want to deal with the calcium problem then use
tri-chlor tabs. They have their own problems though.
