Amy, what sort of material do you want for your floors? Ceramic, stone, vinyl? : )

Sorry I didn't get very specific. I'm wanting a ceramic or stone tile. No vinyl, hardwood, or wood-look laminate. Ideally something that is easy to clean but doesn't show everything either. I will want a tile that looks good with darkish grout lines, b/c I hate when real light grout lines get dark in the middle of the room but are still light by the wall where they don't get as much traffic.

Me? I'd pick a medium to dark marble tile. Good luck finding anything you drop on a really spotty floor. My mother has a wonderful brown, spotty marble with bronze metallic grout, and it looks pristine at all times (even when she swears it's filthy). : )

Marble is a little pricey... I'll post more in subsequent posts.

This one is *cute*. I don't have your wall color in my SW fan deck, but it looks like a khaki-ish color.

Wouldn't a marble floor be slippery? But I love the look, and want something that looks like it in my small bathroom.

Or maybe you want something lighter, same timeless quality.

Marble is slippery in a wet area - just as my backside after someone didn't use the bath mat!! :-(

I was thinking something along the lines of what prairie posted - I neutral with some black veining to tie the cabs and the counter together.

Another variable . . . are you using the basalt for the back splash or something else?
