Is there any way the Trivia site can be posted on a daily thread like the regular dailies?

I hope that isn't true. It wouldn't be fair that way. I hope Casey sheds some light on this issue.

In the beginning we all got the 'same questions'... but we had problems with someone cheating and Casey changed the format to 'different questions'. I thought she had changed it back to the 'same questions'... but obviously not.

I like everyone having the 'same questions', I think it's more fun (and fair) that way.

Just did it and I got 8/10.....way down the list, and took a long time to answer. I didn't think I was all that slow, but obviously I was!

I just took the quiz and got ALL of them right. My score was 830. BwaHa Kat.

It was explained a while back that although not every member gets the same question on the same day, it all evens out over the course of the month. So that at the end of the month, the person who wins for that month got the exact same questions during the period as the person who came in second, and the person who came third, and the one who came in last, etc.

I hope I made that clear. I understand it perfectly. :-)

Having different questions each day eliminates the possibility of someone signing up with two names, taking the quiz, learning the answers, and then going back under the second name to take the quiz again, getting everything right this time.

Bigbaby used to mention the topics of questions that she had missed in the comments section.. I never got most of those questions anytime during the month.

If we did get exactly the same questions each month it still wouldn't be fair... I'd hope to get all the hard ones on the same days. Ending up with a few scores of ZERO and get the easy questions the other days. Instead I usually get 1 or 2 questions daily that I have to guess at.

Yeah... I probably put way too much thought into this game. LOL

I have it booked marked it's the second site I visit in the morning. I click for the animals then I play trivia.

That would be true I suppose IF the questions aren't mixed up... say the questions you get on Monday are the ones I get on Wednesday. But still... not really fair. I might do good at guessing on a day that I get a couple sports questions... but I end up getting 6 points cause I am slow and because that particular day a a lot of peeps get a easy group of questions. Now if I had got the sports questions on a day that most everyone else had got the sports questions and I had guessed correctly... I'd have been in the top few players. If you don't make the top 10 on any given day, you really aren't accumulating many points. So.... it really isn't fair anyhow... too many variables.

That said... I think I did pretty good for the month of April. I happened to guess correctly on 2 sports questions today! Yay!

Now who got a hockey question AND a archery question today??? Did you get those questions anytime this month? I really don't think we are getting the same questions throughout the month.

I don't think I will ever beat you, Alisande or Casey or some of the other speedy geniuses... but I don't think the game is really completely fair unless we are getting the same questions on the same day.

I did the quiz Friday morning and I didn't get either a hockey or an archery question, as Lydia did.

I had a Martin Luther King question yesterday and I got it WRONG. I was hurrying and didn't realize the answers had a junior and a senior. How the heck does Casey answer so fast???

I've just changed it so that everyone now gets the same questions (it might not take effect until tomorrow though). I did change a while ago it because someone was cheating. I didn't think it was a big deal that not everyone got the same questions but some of you do so I changed it back. I suppose I could have a poll on which way you prefer it, but for now it's back to everyone getting the same questions.

Why someone would feel the need to cheat on the trivia game is beyond me.

Nope, I don't recall an archery question in all of April.

One thing I wanted to mention is that we should probably be careful not to mention specifics in the "shout out" comment line (upper right). Talking about a certain question can give away the answer. I mean, I'm all for sharing among friends, but....... :-)
