I can second that, Carole. I have two bags of grounds from our last trip down to Greenville, and received a bag the previous trip. They actually package them and leave them in a big container by the entrance. I am going to talk to some of the coffee shops like Borders in Cary about saving grounds, too. If we all mention that "Starbucks is doing it", we might be able to start a more widespread movement.

Update from the "Whistleblower": On February 6, 2009, the law office of Pernell W. McGuire reported that they filed the petition for the chapter 7 bankruptcy, for their client Buycabinets.com/Trevor Grace, on February 5, 2009. They also confirmed that Mr. Grace would be filing for a personal bankruptcy as well. However, they had no idea as to the timeline for the filing of the personal bankruptcy. If you do not receive your official notice from the court, please contact the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Arizona, at 800-556-9230. The court-appointed trustee will determine which assets can be liquidated to satisfy the debts to the creditors. Since Arizona is a "community property" state, the trustee may be able to access the assets of Ms. Grace, who is a Vice President at a local Chase bank in Flagstaff. Aside from the assets of Buycabinets.com, Mr. Grace and Ms. Grace, the trustee should also be able to acquire the assets that may have been fraudulently transferred to TheDirectCabinetSource.com. Timelines are very important in determining the intent to commit consumer fraud. When preparing the documentation to support your Proof of Claim, please ensure that you include the dates of all communications with Buycabinets.com and/or TheDirectCabinetSource.com. You may also want to include a complaint to the court objecting to the chapter 7 discharge, and request that it be revoked on the basis that the debtor may have committed fraud. The Proof of Claim, which I will be submitting, will include the Whistleblower report that was filed with the Arizona and Nevada Attorney Generals office, the Federal Trade Commission and the local Flagstaff SheriffÂs office. This Whistleblower report contains over 30 possible witnesses and/or persons of interest, who law enforcement can question to establish the intent to commit consumer fraud, and to determine if assets were, in fact, fraudulently used or transferred to TheDirectCabinetSource.com. My Proof of Claim will include a list of at least 9 ex-employees and business associates who can corroborate that Mr. Grace used Company/Consumers money for personal expenses. It works on any computer with a USB port and has been used and accessed by the urgent care team. It doesn't have to access the Internet or go online it is a file stored on a USB flash drive. The ones that have to be called in are time consuming. This is direct access. I was to the point of not having enough room to engrave everything on the metal plate of the bracelets. I do also have an engraved medic alert dog tag necklace but I don't wear it very much, I don't like wearing necklaces. I have never heard of hospitals not looking at them. I have only had very positive feedback and response from all the medical community I have been around. I am considering a new USB one that is stainless steel and can use all my pretty beaded jewelry bracelets that I was using on my regular medic alert plate. These all contain PHR (Portable Health Record) or EMR (Electronic Medical Record). Which provides as much medical information as you want to include in the file. So I can be certain that they know exactly what they need to know immediately. If I had only one thing I needed to alert on I would probably still use the metal plate engraved. They definitely don't have to be ugly anymore! For those who think that you need to look at a few of the sites that offer the beaded jewelry bracelets which the plates attach to, there's some beautiful ones available. I have one I made with lapis lazuli beads and silver it's one of my favorites. It is great because it makes the young girls want to wear their bracelets since they are so stylish.
