Prayers needed please

I'm asking for prayers for DH,took him to urgent care today,because he was complaining of a headache.he didn't tell me until last night and it had been going on since thursday.Now so you're probably wondering why i took him for a headache,right?? We've been together for 55 years and he's never had a headache in all those years,but he did have a stroke in 1999,so i thought maybe he was on his way to another stroke.

Anyway while i was on the phone with the dr's office this morning,he went out into the backyard,he had planned on doing yard work,But God in his infinate wisdom didn't let him start working.Instead he came around front and came into the kitchen where i was and i noticed he was having shortness of breath,of course he didn't think that was true.But i told him i was going to throw on some clothes and take him to urgent care.

When we talked with the dr's there they asked if he had fallen,bumped his head or injured it in any way,the answer was no,not that either one of us could remember.

They did all the usual tests,blood work ekg etc.Then they decided we should go to the emergency room so they called ahead and told them we were on our way.

Same questions were asked and answered and then they took him for a ct scan of his head.It showed he has a subdural hemotoma!!! So they will keep him tonight in ICU,then in the morning do another ct scan.They wanted to do an mri,but he has a stimulator implanted in his back,so they said they couldn't do that one.Depending on how it goes in the morning,he may have to have brain surgery in the morning.

He's only ever been in the hospital once and that was when he had the stroke in 99,the stimulator was done on an outpatient basis.He just turned 75 last week.

So i ask that all those that are willing to,to send up prayers and good thoughts for him.They will surely be appreciated.

Thank you, folks! Sunday, a week ago, the motel that is co-owned by both Sabine and her ex-husband caught on fire. The fire destroyed their building adjacent to the motel which housed cleaning and maintenance supplies, washers and dryers, etc. The 'boyfriend' is a convicted arsonist but it seems too weird, to me, that he would be that dumb to do it. No word yet...but the Sheriffs out here know something...just keeping it all 'hush-hush', I believe, until they can zoom in on the culprit/culprits. They may never find her, but I'm confident they will solve this heinous crime.

Thank you so much for your prayers. I am not sure if Mike will be in rehab or not. I want so much to be there for him,but Jim will probably be starting radiation next week.We saw the Radiologist this afternoon and she says that it is good that Jim is not having pain in his hip.A lot of people wait until they are in pain and by that time the tumor is eating into the bone and he could have a broken hip or leg.Luckily they have been monitoring him all this time,so she thinks that things will go well. Mike doesn't have a tumor,it is several discs and a lot of nerve damage.Again, thank you for your prayers.They mean a lot to me.

Just found out the ( the young man and family) had their furniture stored there also. They had moved with her mom who could not live by herself as she recovered from some serious surgery and the loss of her husband.

He's very lucky that you guys went in when you did. That's a very dangerous condition if not detected in time, but, now that they have identified it, they can proceed to fix it.

Prayers for you and your husband. I hope it works out for you the way it worked for my father...and this was several years ago. The doctors ended up putting a couple of drains in and didn' need to do more intensive surgery. My father kind of resembled a Borg from Star Trek though with the tubes coming off the top of his head. He didn't spend all that many days in the hospital either. So glad you took your husband in quickly and your doctor sent him along to the hospital. Again, sending up prayers!!
